Doing A Fantastic Job, Keep. Up The Good Work!
Thank you! Will do!
Keep up the great work brother it is an HONOR to have you up here god bless you
Great images captain Andy ,Thank you so much for getting these shots of new equipment they keep bringing in to combat this job, it's remarkable the scale of this operation , size of the equipment, Wow!
Very welcome
Thanks for the picture of the shear; we couldn't see it clearly from the StreamTime cam. It took a while to figure out what that black crane was doing!
And the audio is priceless - we could only hear one side of the conversation from the Broadcastify scanner feed.
Thanks so much for being out there!
.. check out those counter weights on that crane @ 7:15 ginormous !! And the radio chatter is awesome, gives a whole new inside perspective of this removal process and professionalism
of these men and the risk they take...hats off to them !!
Thanks Andy, It's really great to have you up there keeping us informed !!
I still recount your Golden Ray videos...what an odyssey that was!
Stay safe out there 😎
Counter weights! OK, that makes sense. They looked like stacked up plastic containers and I wondered what they were being used for.
@@KenJackson_US Lol, I'm no expert by any stretch...but my dad was a crane & heavy equipment operator at the port in Savannah Ga back in the 70's & 80's...I only know enough to be dangerous 🤣
Love hearing the radio transmissions
I’m not saying that the folks working on the clearing and salvage are happy that this disaster happened but they are enjoying the challenge and that’s pretty cool to see. It reminds me of the people that fight forest fires, of which my father was one, for most of his career. The relationship with fires was a love/hate one and grown men would be as excited as little kids at the prospect of a challenging one to deal with. All the best to the crews carrying out these challenging operations to get things back to normal in Baltimore.
Thanks for the great images, Andy. Watching with keen interest from Australia.
Thanks 👍
Little Ole Lady from PA. Thank you for keeping us up to date.😊😊❤❤
You are so welcome
The little old lady from Pasadena ........beach boys song .....she drives a mustang......
Great reporting. Thank you. It's so impressive to see this with incredible photography and video
Thank you so much!
Thanks for the video, Cap't Andy. They are appreciated. YOU stay save out there on the water. Jon
Thanks for those shots of the shear. Couldn't see it very well with the cam I was looking at online. This makes sense of what we were focused on.
That sheer was made in two harbors Minnesota by a welding company called labounty!
This is exciting Captain Andy.. I'm going to watch it on the big screen. Thank you for your continued quality coverage Sir
Hope you enjoy it! Thanks T
Thank you Captain Andy ! Amazing.
Very welcome!
Thanks man. Great info and videos!
Those shears are LaBounty Shears built in the USA in Two Harbors, MN. The white shear is a subsea unit used to dismantle oil rigs, pipe, etc. The shears are mostly used for demolition and in the scrap/recycling industry.
I’m a sale rep for LaBounty covering the gulf states.
Team work makes the dream work!

Made in the USA!
I'm a welder at labounty! Thank you for your work in sales we don't always get a chance to meet our sales team but I will say great work out there our families appreciate you!
The amount of counterweight on those cranes is impressive!
That is a serious amount of weight
Many thanks for sharing this!
Glad you enjoyed it!
doing a grand job there Captain Andy, just as you did on the Golden Ray, i watched all of that and enjoyed the daily reports and all the events as they unfolded, even though it was such a shambles
i gather this time the Army Navy are in charge to order everyone around, keep contractors in their place with some discipline, great plan, and i saw a video recently explaining what order things are to be done - i was pleasantly surprised as when i looked at images of the site early on wondering how i might do this, i was near spot on at the order - but they are lifting much larger sections than i thought
they seem to be doing a fabulous job, so top marks to them
(i wonder if i should be doing this kind of thing - i still have massive ideas for a super recovery vessel)

Good to hear from you and thanks for your insight
Thank you for the update,MR.ANDY.BLESSINGS.
Thanks Teresa
The images of the huge machinery is appreciated
CAPTAIN Andy thank you for all your hard work. Your are doing a great job in keeping us up-to-date on what's going on. Stay Safe and be careful out there. From AZ.
Thank you, I will
6:03 - Dale Pyatt, largest clamshell dredge in the Western Hemisphere. Depending on conditions, a 60 yard or 30 yard bucket. It played a big part in refloating Ever Forward near Baltimore, April 2022.
Wow amazing skill and coordination. Great coverage thanks Andy. Stay safe and healthy.
Just wondering….. how much did this “accident” cost the American taxpayer ?…..
Wow, what an undertaking. I keep looking at that huge assembly still resting on the ship, and imagine there's a team of engineers somewhere figuring out how to deal with it. Don't want it falling to the bottom of the channel.
Awesome footage and audio and narration as well. Many thanks, Captain Andy. Blessings. Sherry 🥰🙏💞🛥
Thank you kindly
Another great one for crane fans! Thanks!
Thank you Andy Great video..
Very welcome!
Wow, amazing images, especially with the audio of the workers coordinating. Fascinating, by far the most interesting vids I’ve seen of the demo work. Subscribed with the bell, thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it! Welcome to the Minorcan Navy
Thank you for the coverage.
You bet
Bad ass equipment there.
Check out labounty grapple/sheer/concrete pulverizers I build them along with a long with a large team of others I love seeing our equipment being used.
Amazing how much really heavy work has been done. Good job, guys (and gals)!
We agree!
Appreciate your work as usual.
Much appreciated
I heard that you've had a couple tough days. Wanted to give you a 👍🏻 and let you know your efforts will be rewarded. Best Wishes Andy!

Hello there! Welcome aboard
Nice batch of images captured. So, is that you guys capturing these great shots? Thanks!
Yes we are
Excellent Thanks. Capt
Wow that looked like a non hydraulic sheer on that crane, yikes thats gotta be fun maneuvering for a cable pull cut style activation- very interesting
Nice shot's Thx u 🙏
Thanks for watching!
Good images. I foresaw that untangling some of the bent up bridge truss would be difficult. The problem is that when they cut a portion the entire thing can become unstable. It's very unpredictable. They have to support it with one crane as another does the cutting. The giant shears can get tangled up in the mess. It is amazing that thick pieces of steel can be cut with a hydraulic press. I've watched them do it at the steel supply company in Denver, called "DenCol Steel". They can cut through1/2" plate like it's butter. They punch holes in it too. The holes and cuts are very clean.
Located in Denver, Colorado, DenCol's 6-acre facility is geared to service your steel processing and first stage fabrication needs.
Fine use of the Ferodestructus Monodontids. (One tooth steel destroyer)
It does look a bit like a dinosaur! Good name for it.
Really hard to believe you have only 21K subscribers. Should be much more.......Jay
We are working on it!
WOW! 9 cranes in the picture.
Thank you. Great info.!!!!!
Our pleasure!
Thank you!!
You're welcome!
here in UK we got shears that go on Long Reach Excavators that reach 60 to 70m in Europe they got 90m Machine
I work on the Pyatt and she is a beast
A question: Will the entire bridge have to be rebuilt or just the collapsed section?
That's a question for a structural engineer. I know bridges have an expected lifetime. Not sure.
I will be shocked if they use any part of the existing bridge.
The water current seems to be moving fast........
Is there a payload listed for the containers? Are they all export goods or import? Was the ship empty upon arrival
07:00 - Oh my, what a lot of counterweight there
The super structure the easy part the road deck going to be rough
Any information on an emergency repair of the gaping hole in Dali bow ?
If a storm comes up, it could be a very serious issue with that gaping hole.
I've heard of no plans to repair the ship. Priority is moving her out of the channel.
I just wonder how big those engines are in the Ezra soul I would think they would have to be caterpillars or even maybe Detroit❤
Did all the bodies get recovered I haven’t heard could someone let me know please .
I'm wondering, why not use oxygen lances instead? They're fast, cheap, and are easier to maneuver and operate than the shear.
What is the broadcast frequency of the cranes?
156.925

Maybe they'll invest in safety guards around the bridge supports this time.
The newer guidelines for bridge construction will ensure that
Que se sabe de la recuperación del cuerpo de nuestro compatriota Miguel Angel Luna..?
That I don't know. Two are still missing
Gosh, will the EVER get the Dali out of there!!??
Thank you for properly referring to the collapsed bridge by it's name, but why does your title wrongfully call it the "Baltimore Bridge"?
That's what most of the rest of uninformed Americans refer to it as. Let's get them subscribed and then informed. Welcome to the Minorcan Navy
QQQ have all the workers been found??
4 found, 2 still missing as far as i know
Our Flag is Still There
are they planning on taking that steel to a foundry and reprocess the steel from this bridge in restore it to make new shapes of steel ffor a new bridge
I don't know where the steel is headed.
Why did everyone stop talking about the people in cars that went down with the bridge? Not the workers, the cars that sunk.
Lisa you may have some breaking news here. What cars?
2000 ton
Did they ever find the rest of the people? media soon gave up on the story
Two are still missing
Let's keep them in our prayers so to bring closure to the families God bless you Andy for having class
I plan on heading down, would you like to meet up?
Leaving tomorrow for a few days
Is someone actually crawling around on debris hooking up chains 🤔🇺🇸
There are multiple man lift aerial system assets on site. If under water assistance is needed, the divers answer that bell.
Those chains are very large and have to be set with cables and extra cranes.
Each link is 8-12" long or bigger.
Dali should sue the bridge because of inadequate protection of the pilings??
Or because the careless bridge jumped in front of them.
I Wish I Was There To Help. I Am A Signal Man For Heavy Lift Crane's!
Dali has become a prison for the crew? That sure is unusual in a free world order. Maybe they made up new rules last night ;)
Have they foynd the last two men
Warms my heart when people cash in on a disaster.
Maybe you should take a minute to look over my channel and educate yourself as to how and why I started my channel. Carry on!
@@MinorcanMullet i’m not taking the time to do that. You started this channel with the same goal as every other social media person, to make money. It’s always about the money.

Yeah but it’s still better than almost anything we had in the 1900s.
Too funny Derek

Write a script and stick to it. You speak one word every 10 seconds. Very annoying.
