I totally agree with you assessment of profondo. No longevity. Lights was good but unnecessary. The new profondo however has great longevity. Don't know if this was in response to complaints or coincidence
@@slhines7 the parfum. The other smells like a middle of the road between the original reformulation and profumo. I have both so i dont need that one. Plus it still faded faster on my skin than the parfum but my skin devours just about anything i spray on so.......
100% agreed. For the same price you can get Titanium from Arabian Oud which is on a similar style, but way higher quality and with much better performance.
I do like the Armani ADG line. However, there have been a crazy number of new releases, of fragrances, which are very similar to each-other. Very confusing the Profumo/Parfum, or the different varieties of the Profondos. Here in Namibia, one store had the new Profondo Parfum, at 4,700 Rand for a 200 ml bottle. That´s 260 USD. It does not even smell as good as the old Profondo. So, I am a bit disappointed when I smell the new releases - watered down, and double the price of the old bottles, compared to a few years back. A pity.
Joy the EDP version is also long lasting. I never buy more than 2 versions of any line. I realised that it's just a cash grab, with small differences among the flankers.
It looks like all bottle sizes are still available for the ADG Parfum here in the US. So, I'm wondering if you are referring to it as being discontinued.
Hello good sir! Ardent follower of yours here! Can you please please review Fragrance World - Versus Ocean Bleu (Dylan Blue alt)? There are absolutely zero reviews on that, and it seems really intriguing.
I had a 40ml of the og newer batch and I got lucky and found a 200ml of a vintage Acqua Di Gio with the Butylphenyl Methylpropional in it and it has great performance I also have about 80% of a 75ml bottle of Essenza and fyi try Essence of Water and Essence of Vast Citrus Water from The Dua Brand (Essenza and Essenza mixed with L.V. L'immensite) I also have a 75ml tester of Profumo with the magnetic cap and a couple of the reformulated versions of it Absolu is nice but Absolu Instinct is more mature as is the edp the original Profondo is nice but Chrome Extreme is a great alternative and less expensive Profondo Lights however is a springtime gem I have the 2024 refillable bottle of Profondo and it's less mineralic and lasts longer I'm waiting on a sample of the new Profondo Parfum as well as the 2024 versions of the Edt,Edp,and the parfum I do agree that the 2023 parfum is amazing and to me it's a fresher version of Profumo so I will have to get the 5.1 oz refill of it incase they replace it with the new one which I have heard has a magnetic cap like the new Profondo Parfum
Acqua di geo original smells nothing like it used to back in 96. I wore it in high school and it was a BEAST 12-16 hours. Had to wash it off. If you want THAT ORIGINAL smell, spray the parfum version on, thats how it USED TO SMELL minus the incense note. It's been butchered.
ADG Essenza is the best hands down. It's a crime they discontinued it. I have two back up bottles. 👍

Great video. These fragrances have gotten grossly expensive it's unbelievable. I love ADG but geez when is it enough
People are complaining about problems that do not exist. If the fragrance dies after 3 hours...Bring a bottle in your pocket, bag, and apply again.

Performance is not good bro. Smells pleasant. Mr burberry elements lasts 3 times more. Better value

During the pandemic, I got 2 Profumo directly from Armani website in the USA. I returned them both. Severely watered down.

The ADG clones these days are better and far less expensive than the OG.
Try it for yourself , the clones are spot on.
I don't pay more than 1 euro per ml. If Arabs can make good cheap fragrances, Europeans can do it too.
