Finally another REAL Track Pack! I have a 13 Performance White track pack, every time I take it to Ford to get the oil changed they’re always confused as to why I have to specifically ask for 5w50 oil 😅
Lol..yeah..those techs don’t know the difference between base GT or track packs unless told..so when I have questions like rear gear oil type and trans questions I go to mustang forms or google..as Ford dealership specs are almost always on base GT’s and get confused on “track pack”questions..or I found just tell them it’s a 2012..2013 boss 302..all fluid types and changes are the same as track pack..
@@alexworld3056 to be honest I can’t tell..cuz I’ve always only put 5w50 Royal purple in mine..never gone down to 5w20.. but according to personal friends of mine and lab test it does make a difference.. but according to independent test it is better for your engine to use the OEM Recommended fluids.

Hey Joe. I enjoyed your video and subscribed. I have the ‘14 Brembo GT. I recently installed the MMD front splitter and love the way it looks. It does make me consider a different level of being careful.
@@5.0joe88 Surprisingly enough it’s more stout than I had anticipated with all the reviews I read. It is at least as thick as the factory. But the factory splitter is rolled over a quarter inch or so making is appear much more substantial. I can imagine if I were to bump into something with the MMD protruding out like it does it would snap like a twig. As Elmer Fudd used to say “Be very, very careful”. The most “interesting” thing to me so far was that I pulled my Mustang up on 2x12” ramps leaning on concrete blocks to install. I measured just enough clearance to allow me to ease my car down after l was finished but I hardly had any room to move while I was under the splitter. Truly a Kodak moment.

Man I have the same car. I agree that body style is the best looking real mustang. The s550 looks good to. But a little faren looking. The only ones that I like roush, gt500, and 350. Keep them video's coming. I'm a fan. Oh mine is 2012 .I spent about 4000 on cosmetic. It already has performance bolt on. About 500 rwh. Don't race it. I do get a little heavy footed leaving car shows.

CNC ported heads..and the intake manifold.. you have all the other goodies that makes a Boss 302 a Boss..😀

Mickey Thompson ET Streets SS..305/35R18.. Great tires for the track not so much if you daily Drive.. I only drive my stang on the weekends.. and they lasted only a little over a year.. so definitely not a daily tire.. but hook very well for racing..and you can’t go much wider then a 305 without flaring your fenders .. anything wider without modifying somehow..you’ll rub..
so I live in Colorado Springs.. so the higher altitude definitely affects tire pressure.. but I generally keep them around 35.psi.. around 30 on warmer days if I know I’m going to be getting into some races..😁

I have a track pack I bought it 2 years ago I never knew it came with a bigger radiator and an oil cooler 😂 I also didn’t know I was supposed to put 5w50 on mine I do have the cap that says it but a couple of friends told me that if I don’t track my car I can just run 5w20
Very true.. if you’re not aggressively driving on the street or track you’ll be fine with 5w20.. stock air box is just fine, aint goin do much better with a after market cold air intake I know a lot people say the pmas is good and indeed it may be but in this cause these modern muscle cars the stock air box with just a drop it will do wonders. Yeah..when shopping for my next stang it was a no brainer..lol..S550 is a nice stang..but a dime a dozen and just doesn’t have the styling the 2013 2014s do..and yes the 15 and up have a nicer interior..but interior is the last thing I care about when shopping for a mustang..lol..besides the 2010 to 2014 interior isn’t that bad..

Pad knock back and the solid rear axle is the reason for the floating calipers in the rear…you won’t find fixed calipers on a live axle car

Had a 2016 5.0 and now have a 2013 5.0 and I personally think the s197 looks better. Interior is a huge downgrade but that doesn't matter to me.
Yeah..when shopping for my next stang it was a no brainer..lol..S550 is a nice stang..but a dime a dozen and just doesn’t have the styling the 2013 2014s do..and yes the 15 and up have a nicer interior..but interior is the last thing I care about when shopping for a mustang..lol..besides the 2010 to 2014 interior isn’t that bad..
Take the back seats out, get a delete kit, up front Recaro Seats, ....plastics you cant really do anything about. The perfect car would be if a M3 BMW and Mustang GT 5.0 had a baby

Eleanor side scoop not needed, actually awful looks like an afterthoughts. To many 5.0 badges , close to ricer stang. Less is more, power, handling, classy mustang muscle is enough.
