Interesting! Was Ed Knapp saying that American Tower will be putting up remote "off-grid" signal towers at particular POEs (Points/Places Of Interest) like Yosemite Park, some big remote lithium mine, etc. etc. in order to connect with AST's Bluebird sats & locally amplify signal strength, boost reception, call quality, etc?* * He didn't say that specifically, just trying to interpret what he was saying.
It would be an ideal way to extend the service once it hits the ground. Thought this was how Starlink was going to work here in NZ via One (Vodafone). Although here it could be using WiFi and RCS which wouldn't be that great.
This CTO really knows his stuff. Pointing out the linking of towers, I'd bet he probably started out as a cable tech long ago.
Popping lots of videos today
Very exciting stuff! 🎉

How are communication links protected from bad players who will try to intercept phone calls?
Like for any cell tower. They are not responsible for encryption

So cool
Que bueno ver a todos trabajando en la misma dirección
The word is spreading
Have to ask yourself what American Tower sees in this disruptive competitor AST! Thinking about the future no doubt!
FERVENT

We WON'T need American Tower after Abel gets done...
They know that's why they are heavily invested in it. They made a smart move there
Hahahaha true
