Good catch, Sarvesh! Having spent 35 years in the ATL, I had come to realize this kind of event was pretty common, both taking off and landing. It's been that way since the 80s. They added a fourth parallel runway a few years back, then a massive International Terminal.
That is super interesting, thanks for sharing Michael! I did not know much about the history of ATL, but was super blessed to be able to experience this after visiting the airport for the first time in 9 years. Looking forward to being back here soon!
