Gympie Pyramid Apr 16 2021 with Larissa Waters

Queensland Greens Senator Larissa Waters was invited on April 16 2021 to see the Aboriginal rock artifacts that comprise the Gympie Pyramid to see if she (as Senator) could have some influence in stopping the site's imminent destruction for the Gympie Bruce Highway Bypass. This video documents our (Helga, Bill, and June) tour around the site; you will hear the roadworks machines in the background towards the end. Sadly, we believe it has now been destroyed.

You can’t stop progress for every damn rock or thing out there.
We have the same problem with activists in Romania.
You can’t build a power plant because of a frog. You can’t build highways because of some rock.
