Continuing the long road that is the ranked ladder climb! These games were some of the most diverse I've ever seen, from Ninjas, to Vendreads to Branded, and even a cheeky burn strategy! These games were really fun and I'm hoping to continue this climb! Can we reach the top rank with just Archfiends? Gotta rep the OG mascot even if Yugi isn't. This deck uses the Dark Spirits as always, but has some tuners that enable Chaos Archfiend. If Chaos Archfiend is unavailable, then Berserk Dragon is a nice alternative (if a little bricky!). Summon Tour Guide act eff, SS doomdog octros.
Link into cherubini of the burnings abyss.
Add diabolica with octros eff.
Activate cherubini effect send fiendish rhino warrior for cost.
Activate rhino send archfiend heiress. Diabolica and heiress activate summon diabolica add ghastly glitch.
Glitch is live because of diabolica and you have 4 cards still in hand...
Take a loooooooong vacation from YGO, but also enjoy updates to Archfiends. Can't lag behind!

Masterking Archfiend is so insane. Recycling every used Monster into the deck, adding to hand or special summoning it.
Yeah I really like Masterking but sometimes it's quite hard bringing him out on top of other stuff. I usually find myself having to choose unless I'm running specifically this type of build

@FlyingKopter I didn't because it can't recycle itself unless it was on the field first. Part of me just wants to run Axe of Despair. I really wanted the lost art version but my locals had all the lost arts BUT the one...

I'm spending this first week planning out my goals for the year. Might create a new channel and start uploading content, learn more about video editting, but who knows? Outside of that, I'm hoping Master Duel finally gives us a 'Red-Eyes B. Dragon' mate and the new Yubel support this year.

With video editing, I'm very much self taught and am still learning along the way. So I don't have much advice outside of actively try to improve with each new video. You'll only get better over time. As with learning anything new, there's 0 downsides, you can only gain :)
Red Eyes mate? If they do that then they need to drop a Summoned Skull mate too!

I go to locals and often lose to Purrley and R-ACE and Fire Kings when using Archfiends. I've been using Nordics lately but wanna use Archfiends as they are cool

Man I love the effort! I was trying to find a deck build too, was getting stuck around platinum too. I was leaning into a stun variant. Getting rid of berserk bricks and adding in more traps along with Lord of Heavenly prison. I’ll promise to keep trying if you do lol
Stun to cheese wins feels good! No one really expects a random Emperor lock. I'd love to figure out how to Emperor lock in combo though
@@TheArchfiendGuy this isn’t optimal but I have used it before… temple of the kings allows you to use a trap turn one or when lord of heavenly prisons drops one on the field. You basically have to draw the temple but with trap trick you could lock them turn one

1) You'd be suprised the sentient amoebas with incoherent decks that practically help you win.
2) you dont need to win all that much. You cant drop gold and below. So you can cut out non-games and keep in wins/interesting loses. Just surren before a loss.
I randomly found your vids while browsing MD content and I gotta say, I find it cool how you're trying to making Archfiends work. So out of curiosity from someone who knows nothing about Archfiends, I want to ask: Since you continuously need to pay LP for your cards and have access to Lv 8 Synchros, what are your thoughts on Thought Ruler Archfiend as a form of LP recovery?
No maxx c ? What changes could make this the best version of this deck ? Love your videos and your content , keep it up !
I have 1 Maxx C 😁 and don't have the URs to invest in two more just yet!
And all sorts of changes, to be honest! Masterking Control with Unending Nightmare is quite gimmicky to be honest, so I'd probably make this deck more Chaos Archfiend turbo. Visas Samsara is a one card Chaos Archfiend for example, and Viscious Astraloud with Pandemonium can search for Archfiend stuff.
As for best version, that's ongoing! Thank you for your support :)

If your emperor hadn't been booked in the first duel would he still go to grave at end phase even tho he was negated?
I swear, I feel like Master Duel has like some sort of algorithm to draw cards you have 1 of in your deck on the starting hand. I was frustrating seeing you draw into Berserk Dragon so many times in your opening hand and how often people have ash blossom and call by the grave proves my point further...Anyways, great showcase as always!
Yes I sometimes despise the shuffler but maybe I should just get good 😭
Masterking Archfiend looks cool. Sadly I dismantled him months ago, before I know this channel. Is there any build that consistently use this link, in current Master Duel or or with future supports?
why not the unchained tech withvice king. its a free material for masterking + possible pop on going second
Are you referring to the spell that searches it out? You're right, that's definitely a cool option moving forward!
Why do you use D/D/D Vice king over Ido, thr mythical being?
Two reasons:
A) Vice King has 2k DEF, so if I pay 2000 LP while Masterking is on the field I can mill it from the deck
B) Ido's lock is stronger but way too risky. If they out it then it'll just go to my field and I've locked myself :c
Irinically the gateway is at 3 in the tcg.

That could be very cool and also doable now that Sanctifire is in the game. Some version of it will probably be in the next MD video (if I have enough URs that is!)

You can! If you're talking about, for example, Masterking and Heiress, those two effects are simultaneous, and SEGOC ruling (simultaneous effects go on chain) mean they have to form a chain to resolve. But I get to choose the order!

Six Samurai player is unaware on how to get infinite bushido counters which is no surprise from a person that copy and paste decks im sure

@@TheArchfiendGuyfirstly very cool to see a person playing something different and TH-cam has you covered in a tutorial but it involves the red & blue six sam and gateway, it’s basically a loop of tributing and recovering

@rudlo7646 I go over it in the deck section but essentially to summon Chaos Archfiend I need light tuners, and the Ecclesias are level 4 lights that can Special Summon themselves so it's relatively easy to set up. Fallen of Albaz goes into Mirrorjade which can send Rindbrumm. Rindbrumm can revive Albaz during their end phase and then put Ecclesia back into my hand, setting myself up for Chaos Archfiend on the following turn.
It's all just a Chaos Archfiend engine. Branded in High Spirits discards for effect, so that synergises with Archfiend Heiress
