- First place up for something different, Singapore's iconic meal, the hainanese chicken. However, my buddy Tim told me this place is doing chicken right all kinds of ways. With a roast, soy sauce, and Hainanese chicken we had to make sure to come hungry for this one. We ended up getting the Hainanese and the Roast chicken and it has me dreaming about going back for more. Some of the most plump, juicy chicken you will eat in your life. A taste of Singapore in Saigon.
Next up, a lady that is doing something very special. The banh mi chien tom. Not only is she loading up each piece of Banh Mi with 3-4 prawns but here is the kicker, the price?? Only 6,000vnd each. I still am not sure how she makes money. You have to come here for her personality and extremely cheap and delicious banh mi chien tom.
Last, Tim and I decided we needed something sweet. Che was what we decided but I don't think either of us knew what we were getting ourselves into. With more types of Che than you can imagine, I just closed my eyes and pointed at each page of the menu. Luckily I have to say we did really well as most of the che’s were really something delicious. My favorite of course being the durian.

I like it when you film with Tim, he's honest with how food taste and he's not busy filming himself . Weird sometimes seeing you and another vlogger filming each other.

I'm living in the States right now and I really miss the food in Vietnam. Max, how about this? This is probably the first time you come to Vietnam, the food that you are eating might be for the experience purpose (as your channel is about exploring food). You might not eat the same dishes again. I feel like you might have to return to the States for a while, and while being in the States, observe your thoughts to see which dishes from which country that you want to try again the most.
if that feeling of craving/yearning for Vietnamese food arises, then you can confirm what your heart truly desires/wants. When you come back here a second time, third time, you really know this is truly your home.

Hainan Chicken is one of the best chicken in the world , you know? I’ve been there for two weeks and the way that they cook the chicken make it more crispy outside and juicy inside? I think you must travel two there soon! From Hanoi to Hainan Island is shorter than Hanoi To HochiMinh

That fried shrimp banh mi looks so good! I was salivating. Have you featured the fried shrimp and sweet potato that's wrapped in veggies and herbs yet? I'm not a fan of any che with lots of beans or beans only - needs other stuff to make it palatable to me (che dau den was not my fave growing up unless it contained lots of lotus roots for crunch).
