👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 yes! I get so excited when I hear others talk about the impact of social media. There’s so much I could say about this topic but I’ll keep it to 2 things that have strongly influenced my own perspective on social media.
    1. “Social media is free because you pay for it with your time.” The enemy keeps us distracted and therefore away from God.
    2. “Social media tells you it’s more important to be updated about everything than to be deeply informed about anything.” A relationship with God takes time, effort, and depth.
God speaks in a whisper and it’s hard to hear that if we’re drowning in the noise of our distractions.
Both of these quotes are from a short Ted talk online of the cost of social media: “The Battle for Your Time”

Hey Sam! Honestly, I’ve been surprised to see this new format just cuz I didn’t expect but the more that video was going on, I got the intention behind and I really appreciated this open and genuine talk as always. You wanted to talk and share something that’s so relevant about social media especially the negative use of that. The devil is actually a thief of destiny, distraction is exactly one of his schemes. I praise the Lord and thank him for that community He gave to you. A community which gathers, tell truth, and where the Holy Spirit is moving, touching hearts and transforming people around the world.
For your obedience to God, a lot of life will be freed, and I am the first one. Be blessed abundantly in the name of Jesus🙏! May the Lord strengthen you more and more for his Glory. Amen❤️

I just watched this in my lunch break definitely liked this because this has to be talked about more often in the world. I love your input on this video, yes being vulnerable and opening up to each other in all of our relationships is so important because it’s a pureness and to talk about emotions so you can help and sharpen each other for the better and even know deep triggers being aware when when someone is battling or triggering there past so you can help them I’ve always said to my mom I don’t think money is what defines you as a rich person it’s the relationship that you have with people family that make you rich and of course a relationship with Jesus your extremely rich spiritually, I definitely did love this video talks a lot about spiritual maturity as Gods child we our daily putting out work and building and molding planting seeds I love how it’s so true and it’s so okay if your not automatically growth of a Godly person it takes work time growth and a lot of demons to fight in reality when we finish every battle we come to an understanding and become grateful because it’s so much part of our growth spirituality Jesus makes it very clear he was a human to he knows everything and can relate so much to us that’s why he’s so good. I just love how everyone is putting out their being a Christian isn’t about perfection because it never was about that remember don’t let your mind control you we have the power to control our mind and to constantly cast out our anxiety worries to Jesus in reality he makes it easy when you openly ask him for help especially in your weakness and imperfections he becomes pleased by that because your showing him you need him and we truly need him constantly and that’s okay we are all human I think it’s a huge strength when you are open and vulnerability about your struggles because that’s already apart of growth and humility especially when your correcting yourself it makes you a man and a woman and righteous crowned as a son of God and daughter. ✝️✨🥹❤️
Sometimes when I even make the people I have relationships with uncomfortable with correcting them and telling them what they don’t want to hear sometimes can be very uncomfortable but I still do it because you want to keep them in the right path and not let them be misled or lead astray in there stubborn ways but i correct them patiently and obviously clam not annoying they definitely still get annoyed not anyone likes to be corrected because how uncomfortable it can be definitely true. Definitely agree with the phone being the devil the cell phone can be idolizing and waste so much of your living time in a natural way.
i hope I’m not the first one lmao💀🤣anyways Great video 😁

I just want to say its okay Sam, were all still sorting ourselves out. The fact that youre still putting out videos and trying is what matters❤ Also, what are your thoughts about listening to worldly music? Do you think its okay to listen to Cardi B, The Migos etc. Do you think music really impacts us? Do you look at Christians differently who choose to listen to wordly and Christian music. Like if youre in the car and they play Cardi B then play Hillsong Worship. I know some people say if youre convicted stop listening.. Sorry its off topic, I just wanted to know your thoughts. Your videos always bring up so many thoughts and questions. Im like ahhh! But loved your thoughts on phones and dopamine. I pray more of us enjoy the wholesome dopamine God gave us, and he helps us in letting go of the unwholesome dopamine. Theres so much joy in just breathing in fresh air or feeding birds or watching children play❤

Hey Sam, I have a thought for you. If you are still struggling with attention to social media and it distracts you, it could be you should only do worship videos and not other kinds of videos. You have been given the anointing to lead people in the presence of God with your worship. Maybe to do only this is enough for you. More could be a burden which is to heavy and could harm you. Sometimes we wanna do so much for the Lord but when we do to much it can be counter productive. I wanna just encourage you to ask the Lord what is enough for you to do. When we do only what the Lord has given us, we will be fine and he will bless it with his power.
    be blessed.

Are you suggesting that we need to fast from Starbucks and energy drinks when you compared dopamine to caffeine?! 🙈☕️
I like to think of caffeine as manna from heaven, but it’s true even the Israelites tried to take more manna than they should in one day. 🤭
Good food for thought, Sam! 🥖

Breaking the dirty dopamine cycle hinges on the tools or battle plan you use to overcome it. ⚔️
For example, 1. strategic texting or calling of a trusted friend to pray over you and share that your feeling tempted etc, 2. A specific verse you choose to pray over yourself, 3. A specific song, 4. Going for a walk or some type of short little physical exercise. ☄️
These types of tools you and maybe a mentor plan out as a battle plan for moments of temptation help you when you feel tempted or when you fall. 💣
God created clean dopamine and getting a quick clean dopamine hit in addition to spiritual tools, (like listening to a song or doing pushups) can help you resist the dirty dopamine temptation! 🗡️🙏🏻

Laughing at George make that sexual dirty joke is literally why people like Sam like these creators--they want some parasocial relationship with a creator who justifies having a faith that justifies everything.
