After sliding the front seats forward, maybe you can extend the back seat headrests to add a little more support.

Dreamcase has support at the head end to stop the mattress drooping

Tip: All new Tesla Y comes with a cargo cover that when put underneath the mattress and letting it rest on the mid console (seats moved alle the way forward), will make a sturdy support for the head end of the mattress.

I just took delivery of Y, but did not get cargo cover.

While on vacation in vegas I ordered this mattress for a planned camping trip in Germany. The bagged up sleeper fitted easily in my model x lower trunk and when it was time to inflate it did it rapido. I didn’t have to add any more air. I slept comfortably for 3 nights noticing that I never fastened 3 of the outlets and even then I didn’t top up any air using the pump. May I also add that after each sleep I suffered no back ache for the whole camp, I am a pretty tall guy with a large heavy frame and this mattress did the job perfectly

So glad to hear this review! I love it as well. We even use it now for guests in our home. Mostly the kids friends who visit but adults have slept on it too with no complaints. It does the trick!

It fits like a custom which is nice. The price is on the high side. I just went to Costco and purchased 3" foam pad and cut it. I am happy.

Glad you’re happy. I do agree that it’s a little pricey but you get what you pay for. It’s worth it to me! My old back needs the best option out there. I don’t know that foam would cut it for me.

Congratulations on the new car! The mattress should fit just fine. Should be back in stock within the next couple of weeks too. :)

Your video was very helpful, but I don’t understand how you were leaving the pump on the mattress to deflate it. The openings are the same size so I can’t leave the pump on the mattress without holding it over the opening. The only way to do it is to remove the whole cap buy that lets air in. What am I doing wrong?

Hmm... I'm not sure why yours are the same size? The openings are slightly different for me so that's how it's working.

    Hi
Thanks for this brilliant review. I really would like to order one and to use your code - BUT I can't get in contact with Formytesla, need a quote for shipment to Sweden. If you have any contact with them pls give them a hint to answer my e-mail.
I have just returned from a trip to north of Sweden - when I slept two night inside my Tesla Model Y - two perfect nights! It was not extremely cold - the temperature was between +10-2 celsius and inside I had set it to 19 degrees. The auto was a little bit to noisy so I changed to Manuel and the fan speed to 2. The heat pump did have some strange fuzzy noise but when I fall asleep it did not interrupt me.
I had borrowed an Ikea madrass that used - it was ok but it take a lot of space when its not used. So for my next trip I really would like to try the Travel Sleeper!
I lost 1% of power per hour - thats what I had expected - so conclusion its no problem to camp in your Tesla - its really cool and cosy:-)
I also need to get some window cover - now it was complete dark outside but I think it also could protect from a little bit from the cold.
