If you want to connect 3 heating strips, yes, they must be connected in parallel. Connect three band terminals to terminal 2 of the SSR relay and the other three terminals to neutral. Attention, the amperage of the relay must be higher than the amperage consumed by the three heating strips. Depending on the type of machine you are building, several heating strips can be mounted on a single PID temperature controller or a PID temperature controller may be required for each heating strip. In any case, if you install the heating strips in parallel, it is desirable that they be of the same type and the same power.

the heating element must only be attached to a relay, it is not attached directly to the thermoregulator

you can also use 2 heating strips connected to a single temperature regulator but the strips must be connected in parallel. in this case their voltage will be the same but the amperage adds up or doubles if the bands are identical.
Is the heater band a must? Because when I bought the controller online it didn’t come with the heater band
The heating strip does not come with the temperature controller and must be purchased separately.

I used a 2 mm cable but you can tell by the temperature of the cable if it is good it is not allowed to heat at all. what installation do you want to do?

Hi, i buy an Rex-700 with 4-20mA Output to connect these Output to an Voltage Regulator SSR-40LA with an 4-20mA Input. The Rex-C handle the SSR on and off, but not Volatge up and down like i hope. I cant find the function in settings. Can you help?

What about for 100W 220V Heater band? How to connect them to the REX-C100?
for 100w 220v the connection is done the same way. the only difference is that the higher the heating band resistance, the bigger the relay must be. for 100w 220v theoretically a 0.5 ampere relay would be enough, but anyway put a bigger one. if you put several heating bands in parallel on the same relay, then their amperage increases proportionally and you will have to use an even bigger relay
How do you put the heater band at ground?
in this video the heating band is not grounded but you can put the machine on which you will mount the heating band on the ground

the heating strips do not connect directly to the temperature controller, they connect to a relay and the relay must have a higher amperage than the heating strips. to calculate the amperage you need to know several parameters of the circuit such as the supply voltage and the power factor. The heating strips I have have an alternating 220 volt supply voltage.
yes you can put two heating strips but you have to connect them in parallel and use a relay as large as possible. I have a 40 amp relay.

Acest sistem o sa alimenteze o rezistenta de 2500W care este introdus intr-un butoi de bere Inox (60 litri) si legat paralel cu cazanul pe lemne. Sistemul meu de incalzire are cam 300 litri de apa. Rezistenta o sa incalzeasca acest sistem dar daca apa din butoi ajunge la 90-95 de grade as dori sa decuplez rezistenta sa nu ajunga la punctul de fierbere. Nu stiu cum sa-l setez. La ARU am setat si valoarea 1 si valoarea 0 dar el cupleaza la temperatura setata nu decupleaza.

Salut, daca te referi la rezistenta de tip banda din clip aceasta este pentru curent alternativ (+ si - se schimba de mai multe ori pe secunda) acesta este format din faza si nul de lucru si da nu conteaza cum o conectezi , dar daca nu cunosti nici cele mai elementare principii despre curentul electric din prize nu trebuie sa umbli acolo sub nici o forma, este mortal si e de ajuns sa gresesti o singura data intr-o singura secunda.

You did not specify if you use the rex c100 thermoregulator, nor the power or amperage of the ceramic heater. For the rex c100 thermoregulator you need a SSR-DD relay (DC CONTROL DC) with DC input around 11 volts (fotek 3-32 VDC is good) and the load voltage part around 12 volts (fotek 5-60 VDC is good), the choice of amperage remains, so the SSR-10DD works at 10 amperes. It is good to choose an amperage higher than the amperage of the ceramic heater.

I don't know what kind of heating element you have and at what temperature you use it, but a thermoregulator for a 12v battery would be this it controls up to a maximum of 120 degrees, but you can find many types on AliExpress

it all depends on the cartridge heater you have, usually those with low voltage of 12 and 24 volts are connected to dc, so an ssr-40dd relay is good. if the cartridge heater has 120 or 220 v, it is usually ac and therefore a ssr-40da relay is good, but in this equation it also matters what kind of output the thermoregulator has in my case rex-c100 f k 02 - v * an dn, letter v it means that it has an output for the ssr relay. other letters mean that the thermoregulator has a different output.

Atenție ! Această schemă nu funcționează, deoarece acel SSR trebuie alimentat cu o tensiune,între 3v și 32 v. maxim, pinul 4 și pinul 5 de la REX-C100, au contact normal deschis,doar această funcție si trebuie alimentat cu o tensiune pentru a funcționa acel modul SSD. Cu stimă Nicu!
Este functionala, o am pe extruderul meu, SSR ul primeste tensiune de la REX-C100.

Probabil te referi la cele japoneze, asta al meu este o copie chinezeasca si probabil nu au multe in comun cu originalele.
