Thank you again for showing the beauty of God's creation! There is so much to see in this country that it is hard to decide what to see next. I love the advice you give us so that we can get the most out of our trips. I hope you will bike the Mickelson Trail in the Black Hills of South Dakota someday, because that is something I would love to do, and I would love advice from you as to how long it would take to do it. God Bless you brother!
Hey guys 👋 l love this hike and the Sierra. Thank you for taking me back. Yes hiking in the Sierra is tough but so awesome. Some good snow left there. Definitely tough to navigate. 👍
Beautiful Country! I was out there with my daughter in 2018. We wanted to hike to Devil's post pile, but the road was bing repaired from winter and spring damage. Great video, kudos to Julie for making it look easy.
Follow the dog! It obviously knew the trail 🤣 Gorgeous views, lakes and scenery. Mammoth was one of my favorite ski areas back in the day. I always stayed out of the water though!
Crazy how much snow was still around! But it was much needed after the terrible drought years they've had in that region. Never had hear of these lakes, so it's always great to learn about new places full of great beauty!
What a beautiful area. Mamoth is so incredible. So glad you were abe to go and enjoy it despite the challenging navigation. Can't wait to see where you take us next
figured you had to get in the water but Wow that must be cold hahaha... beautiful hike thanks for sharing/// we were just in that area last week, so nice// snow never melted all the way, was still some in september...
The Eastern sierra is probably my favorite area of the country. That looks like a hike I should have done when I was there last year. Great video and epic drone shots! Hope all is well. Been trying to get in touch with you.
Great video Randy! Another piece of our beautiful public lands that can be overlooked because it doesn’t have that “national park” designation. Also, your video quality, editing, and overall production is awesome. As someone who’s been watching your videos for quite some time, I’m happy to see how much work you’ve put into each one of your videos to make each one better and better. God bless you and your wonderful family.
I was just in Mammoth Lakes, actually a week and a half ago! I did visit the Devil's Postpile while I was there. Crystal Lake is one of my favorite hikes in the area! That view going up is just absolutely amazing!! You also got some wonderful drone shots in this video of the lakes! I've never done it with snow, though, and I can see how it could be difficult to navigate. You did a great job showing off this trail, Randy!
You gotta be ready for anything with americasparks - sometimes it’s half a peanut butter sandwich and other times it’s a cold plunge in the lake. Mom is turning into a natural vlogger too!
Great video. People laughed at me when I told them snow was 50 feet deep in chutes. 2011. They believe now. Live hard love hard channel has everything SOCAL. Everything.
Randy, saw Crystal Lake, and thought you'd might be ripping up Northern Michigan, but then read the rest..ha..Mammoth Lakes looks amazing, I guess thats why you got the numbers..way to get out early. And way to rock that cold plunge.
This is the go to area if you want civilization and duck pass is really short approach. Got Ritter Range. Devils Postpile/Rainbow Falls. I sleep at Grant Lake on ground get up drive up to Tuolumne Meadows. Yosemite. In the winter stick to Lone Pine. Mammoth is the real deal. Devils Postpile now runs a bus down. No cars. Last summer 23. Handicap can drive down.
Yeah, Postpile was the desired destination, but even this late into the summer, the approach road was still closed due to snow. Had a blast there back in 2009 with my daughter.
Please show the location on maps as well at beginning of video. This would be very helpful for people like me who are not from states . Lots of love and appreciation from India 🇮🇳
West is always beautiful..Thank you America Parks...God Bless You and God Bless America ..
Thanks much and the Lord's richest blessing to you as well!
Wonderful vid and wonderful timing. Headed there next week with a friend. Haven't been there in over 40 years and am looking forward seeing it again.

Looks incredible! ...and well done on some of those tricky water crossings!
haha... thought we'd be going in on a few of them! Thanks for watching!
Love the view of those lakes from the top! Wonder how cold that water actually is? Either way I would definitely jump in!
Loved the cold water plunge. I could feel the cold in my bones!

Did I see a little hesitation getting into that water? lol. I bet that was chilly! Beautiful views both in and out of the water!
haha... takes some time to build up the confidence! The "rolling camera" speeds things up for me!
Hello America's Parks, WOW! Amazing views! Mammoth Lakes area...is that the eastern Sierra area Randy? I really enjoyed this! OUTSTANDING!
Mammoth is in the eastern sierra and it is close to Yosemite
Thanks, my friend! Plan B for the day, but not a bad substitute!
Also, can't remember, did you check out the Rainbow Bridge video yet? If not, take a look and leave me a comment!
Hey friend, that Rainbow Bridge National Monument footage, I was watching that the whole time and it was amazing!
The Eastern sierra is probably my favorite area of the country. That looks like a hike I should have done when I was there last year. Great video and epic drone shots! Hope all is well. Been trying to get in touch with you.
Such a beautiful, Robert! Not a bad substitute for the Postpile.
What a wonderful video to watch on a 100 degree day! Thank you for sharing your great trips. Appreciate it!

Is this taken in July? All that snow?
The highest part of the mountains still have snow
Yeah, record snow falls that took extra time to melt away.
Can I do this trail with my 6y old son
Should be doable. Just be careful as some portions go near high ledges.
