Very well done with the mix of old & new viewpoints on Demonology & it's interaction between old texts & myths & todays depictions of them. Gotta admit with today's AI & CG tech the movies can really create some truly horrifying entities & for those to wish & fool with Ouija Boards, spell books & incantations thinking they can make these things happen careful what you wish to find as once you do kiss your ass goodbye. Should any of these things be real they will take from you what they want & leave you as nothing but a pawn.

Valak, I heard the first time, was in the John Carpenter movie, Vampires. Way before the Conjuring.
That’s where I heard of him too! Though in that movie he was presented as a man turned vampire, not a demon. Fascinating how these myths get reinterpreted over time.
That was Jan Valek, not Valak. Valek is actually a Czech surname, correctly spelled Válek.
Ya, I saw that when I looked up valak. Quite a few different movies dating back to the 70s had valak in them.
@@thepostapocalypse We Vampires are the offspring of Demons and Humans, and there are three main types of Vampires: Physical Sanguine Vampires, Physical Psychic Vampires, and Spiritual Vampires (aka Ghouls). A Ghoul is what a Vampire becomes if it passes on into the afterlife, however they do have the ability to become full fledge Demons through the power of the Black Sun. I believe this could be the case with Valek, who was once a Vampire that was transformed fully into a Demon. However I do not work with Valek, so I really don't know for certain. I do know that Valac (the original spelling) is a Demon in the Lesser Key of Solomon in the Ars Goetia. It could be also that Valak/Valek is the Vampire offspring of Valac and was given a name similar to that of his Demon parents just with different spelling.

The depiction of zozo, is actually pazuzu. From the film 'the excorcist'. In the exorcist he tries to possess the young girl, which is strange because pazuzu was called upon to protect the young against Lilith.
I agree with this! I just couldn’t find any “official” sources to back it up. But you’ll notice in the doc when it talks about zozo’s possible ancient origins I showed a picture of the demon pazuzu. :)

Zozo is actually mentioned in the “Dictionnaire Infernal” or “Infernal Dictionary,” a French language dictionary of demons and general spooky stuff. It was originally published in 1818 but was popularized by the illustrated 1863 edition [the source of that image of Valak as the cherub on a dragon; although Zozo himself is not depicted]. Much older than an internet craze. In his dictionnaire entry, the author documents the 1816 case of the possession of a girl in northern France by Zozo and two other demons named “Mimi” and “Crapoulet”

The Sufi Muslims that live in places like Turkey have a plethora of deep information pertaining to djinns. Djinn are spirits and can either be malevolent or benevolent. The malevolent ones are what you would call a demon. The djinn species come in many different races and ranks. Paimon is actually a Djinn King who has millions of lower level djinns underneath him. If and when you were to ever summon a djinn to do a deed for you, you are actually supposed to call upon a Djinn King first and ask its permission first(respectfully) and he then will delegate one from his ranks to do the job. For really nasty jobs they would get a ghoul which is the lowest of the djinn. Like a dirty grimy street thug for hire for a human. In order for you guys to learn more you will have to study Islamic interpretations of these entities as well. King Solomon(phuh) is an important Prophet for Muslims as well and we say that he was given power over the Djinn by the will of Allah’s power.
I wanted to include info about the djinn (as the 72 “demons” captured by Solomon were, I believe, actually djinn - which is why they have both positive and negative qualities) but I honestly didn’t know enough about the subject to go into it. Thanks so much for your input!

Just a little bit of knowledge I would love to share with you. So in Islam it is said that the Most High Allah created Angels first from pure light and Djinn second from a smokeless fire(electricity)and the humans third from dust/clay/earth. So by this understanding that means that they clearly existed before us and had dominion over the earth before us. They are our predecessors. Thats actually where the term “genes” or “genetics” comes from. Its from the word Djinn which is also the word genie(genie in a bottle) which is genes. Our humanoid structure and design start with them. The so called Anti-Christ figure that is said to come in the end times is called Dajjal in Islam. This figure wont be a man, or a man possessed but he will be a Djinn of the nefarious type. The secret in his nature once again is hidden in his name. He is called Dajjal which is basically a deceiver. Dajjal if you notice is spelled with the letters D and J in it. Just like the name Djinn. That Dj is another form of Dg. The j and g are similar in sound and are sometime interchangeable. So the word Dog when you remove the vowel is Dg. Remember Dog is God in reverse. So that whole Dj or Dg things is a way of mocking God. Hollywood is also in on the secret. If you watch the movie Black Adam with the Rock. That whole movie is subliminally showing you the rise of the Dajjal. Black Adam is an anti-hero or anti-Christ figure. Hollywood is heavy into rituals and cast people into roles sometime just because their name is the same frequency of the character they want portrayed. The Rocks real name is Dwayne Johnson. In his inner circle of friends he is called “DJ”. So they basically got DJ to play a Djinn that is a Dajjal. That movie is full of prophetic knowledge dealing with the rise of that end time entity. It is said that the Dajjal will rise out of country from the middle east near Iraq that is living in turmoil and sure enough when they show Black Adam being awakened he is coming out of country in that region and the conditions are not the best and the people seem to worship him and are in awe of his supernatural power. Im sorry if I went off in a tandem but I just like to share some the stuff that I have been blessed to be shown from and through my spiritual intuition and ability to connect all these dots.

I've heard of the Uttuku. They were very real to the Sumerians and were used as gaurdians of portals, tunnels and even Royal Palaces. These beings were described as fierce looking Reptilian-Humanoid hybrids, very tall and muscular in stature and armed with swords and other brutal weapons.

@@thepostapocalypse I haven't had a negative experience with Goetic spirits. They are called "demons" because they are old gods, and the Greek "daimon" meant divine spirit. King Paimon and Valac are both spirits from the Ars Goetia, from the Lesser Key of Solomon (and other grimoires). Are there vicious violent spirits out there? Yes there are. But I haven't had problems with the Goetic spirits.

All of this is nothing but long after-the-fact creations of the medieval catholic church. Solomon was a very wise and just king, of Juda, but he too, like the kings set apart by the Lord God before him, Saul and David, fell from grace because of sin, and after Solomon fell because of sin, no other king was ever set apart by the Lord. All these stories of Solomon sealing demons with a magical ring is nothing but Medieval make-belief. Even if these books exist, they were not created with the intent for good people to be able to summon and control demons, but rather act as a trap for the gullible to summon a demon and fall victim to it. Nothing good can come from a being of evil, and all demons are evil, regardless of what THIS video says. if you endeavor to summon a demon the only thing the demon will do is harm you with lies so subtle and language of sophistry so corrupt that they will surely lead you by the nose down to hell. Do not seek good from beings of evil, but go to the God of Goodness, for that which is good. The Devil and his servants, we call demons, reward his servants with no good thing. Mortals think that the devil will reward them for their service, but they fail to realize that the devil is the enemy or ALL mankind because we all stood against him, when he was cast out of Heaven for rebellion. so, regardless of our choices on earth, his goal is to lead us down to hell where he can sift us as wheat between his fingers, and make us a miserable as he is and forever will be, and once life on this earth is finished, and the last soul is born, then comes the judgement and the devil and all of his followers who were cast out of Heaven, will be removed from Earth, and cast into outer darkness, where there is no light, no warmth and no respite from misery , and it was all of their own making and they know that this is what will happen, regardless of the things they do, so they have sworn to take as many of us down with them as possible, and this was his threat in the face of the Lord, but the Lord would not allow it and put enmity between him and the seed of Adam, us. so that we feel fear when faced with the devil or his servants, and this is your soul warning you that the beings you encounter in hauntings or any other demonic contact are EVIL and are your enemy! Anyone who makes contact with spirits and think they are people from the past who have died, this is a lie! Spirits of the dead are forbidden from communicating with the living and cannot do so, the spirits in hauntings are demonic evil spirits who pretend to be spirits of the dead. but they are liars because it leads people to believe that God is not a benevolent being or that there is no God and that when we die we must continue in another plane of misery and woe. Of course this suits the devil's goal to besmirch the Name of God and make it seem like God is something like a careless, absentee Landlord. Nothing can be further from the Truth. We live our lives and most often we have many countless blessings in our lives but simply do not recognize how blessed we are, and we also have a tendency to think that God will save us from the evils of other people if he were truly around, but then that would interfere with the one great blessing he has given to all men, the freedom of Agency. Do not blame God for the evil actions of a Mortal man or woman. they chose to perpetrate evil upon another of their own free will and God will never interfere with the agency of his Children, this is why he has always proclaimed that we should never procrastinate the day of our repentance, because what is death to the righteous person? the righteous person is welcomed home back into the bosom of the Lord God, and is a glorious and sweet meeting. but those who are wicked, live in fear of death. their soul knows that they will go to meet their God with their sins upon their head, and death-bed repentance is of no effect. in the New testament, Jesus talks about good works, and the beatitudes. How men must love our enemies and do good works without good works, Faith is dead. one must LIVE their devotion to the teachings of the Lord, if not how can a person be judged properly? the only thing left is their heart, and if a man, who does not live the gospel of Jesus Christ, lives a life of sin and has an evil heart. and there will be many people who proclaimed to serve God with their mouths, but did not live the life that He commanded them to live and will thus be cast out because they have evil hearts, and unclean garments. and the Lord has said, that no unclean thing can enter into the kingdom of God. we must live the commandments of Jesus Christ repent daily and always strive to do good not only unto our friends and families but also unto those who use us and are our enemies, The Rewards will be worth every difficult time you have to show kindness to those that spitefully use you, but the rewards will be endless and limitless in the end. It is not an easy lifestyle. But God never said it would be easy, but he DID say with would be worth it! For of all the titles we can call God, of all the reverence he deserves and the things we could call him in our prayers to him, the one thing he asks us to call him, is "Father." And what is a son or a daughter to their Father? what is a prince to a King? what is the Heir of an emperor? God is always talking Spiritually and metaphorically to us, so when the ruler of the universe asks you to call him Father, what are the implications of that? as if we follow his commandments and follow his teachings and seek out his TRUE church on Earth, and find it, we can rest assured that we can inherit the Father's legacy, as one of his heirs. Male or Female. Both have their roles and both have their importance, and neither is more important than the other, and neither is complete without the other, this is why we are commanded to marry and be loyal and devoted to our choice of partner, have children and raise a Family. there is no greater joy for parents than to see their children grow and be successful. any parent that uses their child to sabotage the other parent, or as a weapon to gain revenge on the other parent or lies to their children about their other parent is destroying their family from the inside and thus is a servant of evil and will be cast out in the last day when faced with their Lord because where they should have supported their children's relationships with their other parent, they chose to sow division, where they should have told the truth about the other Parent, they chose to spread lies destroying the good name of the other Parent, becoming a child of the Father of lies and forcing their children to believe falsehoods about them, taking away the goodness of the other parent. all of these crimes cannot be reversed with a simple "I'm Sorry." and if they have any remorse at all, they must endeavor to undo the damage they have done, and they must try to repair that damage, by reaching out to every person they ever told lies to about their spouse, and confess their sin and repent to them, but then there is the very real possibility that those lies were repeated to others, which is why it is never a good idea to repeat what other say about someone else that is unkind or spreading tales of poor behavior and damage that isn't or cannot be verified by empirical evidence. soon those who you told those lies to, who have repeated those lies to others are now part of the sin of spreading lies and gossip, and your lies about your spouse have now made others into liars as well. because gossip is a sin, the spreading of lies about another person who you cannot possibly tell if they are true or not. and hell will be filled with women who spread lies about their good and just husbands who loved their children, and they will be with all those who repeated the gossip about her husband as well, that destroyed his good name, that took his children away from him, and filled them with hatred for a father who loved than and never did any wrong. And your Children will despise you, your husband will despise you, and all your friends will despise you and while you languish in the cold darkness of hell, being mocked and abused by the devil and his followers, and they will remind you of your black and evil sins at every opportunity your Spouse, who suffered all kinds of misery because of your evil acts against him, will reside in Heaven, with your children and His new wife, al in righteousness and in perfect joy, because they were saved in the Lord while your own black and evil sins grew beyond your control and far beyond your ability to repent for. This is what is in store for anyone who misuses the name of the Father of her children. even if there might be some truth to it, you can never be sure that he has repented for his sins and changed, because the Lord forgives whom He Forgives, because he knows and sees all. and it is HE who decides who has repented or not, certainly not you because it is always in the heart of the offended to cause far greater suffering than what is justified by their revenge. That is why the Lord has said that it is up to us to forgive all who sin against us, even to seven times seventy, because the lord also forgives us our own sins why then can he not forgive others? the Lord will repay those who have sinned, not us, we are to forgive all.

To be fair, if you look up 3 different “experts” they will usually use 3 different pronunciations. A lot of the demonic names originate from dead languages so it’s kind of a crap shoot. Still, I appreciate your feedback and will try to work harder to get pronunciation up to speed moving forward.
