Got this beast yesterday running it on 3s,wheelie bar has snapped and front left wheel fell off, lost the nut, washer, and hub cap, only run it on grass and road outside my house. easy things to fix, absolutely crazy machine 😜
Awesome!! I actually ran it on 3s for the first time today! I lost a couple wheel nuts too but luckily was able to retrieve them. The. My battery flew out and it was at like 50% power after that. Need to figure that one out. But wow I couldn’t believe how fast she was!!super fun truck!!
Dude I literally just got mine about a week ago and I'm soo happy that I did. When you first take it out it feels cheap, BUT it's anything and everything but cheap. Now im Skatepark bashing as we speak 🤘🏾💪🏾
@@DerbyCityRC I've bent screws that hold the skid plates, shock towers and shocks in place. Yeah, the screws have bent but the plastics are fine. It's always a WTF moment when you do maintenance and a screw comes out looking like a banana. So yeah, the plastics it hold up to absolute hell:D
Great video Evan! Wheelies won’t be a problem on 3s, and you’ll get your back flips too! Mine didn’t seem to heat up on 3s though. Used a 2200 3s 50c. And 39mph!I didn’t run with the “sock” on it either! Either way, in my mind, this is one of the best built mid budget trucks out there! Like you said, it’s a beast! Awesome bash session as always fellas! 🔥🔥🔥💪🏼😃🍻
Thanks Robby!! Ya and I also have a feeling maybe the gear mesh was tight from the factory. I’ve ran it once since and it didn’t seem to get as hot, however I had that heat sink on there and it was much cooler the next day lol definitely looking fire to trying 3s!! Thanks again!! 😎🤘😱👍
Yeah the stock motors really could use a fan. I threw a highspeed NHX fan on mine an it helped tremendously when I was running it stock. Even kept it cool enough to go up 1-2t on the pinion. I also stopped using the hair net on it too. It just became more of a hassle for me.
Ya I may get a fan set up. The heat sink seemed to help the second time I had it out. I agree the hair net is a pain. I rarely run through anything that would warrant using it anyway. Good to have for wet nasty locations though 👍👍
Hi man! Mad respect for all your content, super fun and so informative. I really like this rc and I’m traveling soon to USA and I’ll get one of this, only thing I’m not sure is about the LiPo batteries, they seem to be not very liked in airplanes. I was wondering if you could please lend me a hand on how should I transport this truck and the batteries so I have no issues with custom clearance back in my country (Colombia) thanks a lot!!!
Check all 3 diffs. I was going to up my weights but found all 3 empty. Put recommended in front and back then 60k in center. It’s awesome now. Only wheelie on command 👍
This has been my "one day... ill get one". Great video, look forward to updates. I have a few hsp 1/10 projects, i was suprised to hear your motor and esc was getting hot just on 2s... i have literally this exact setup in my wolverine but havent tested yet, now i wonder if the 60amp/3650 is going to be undersized... look forward to the 3s run and how hot it gets, thanks for all your videos and your feedback 😁
Thanks! Yes it’s definitely worth it once you can swing it. I also wonder if my mesh was tight from the factory. It definitely got worse after using it for a bit, but may have still been tight before hand. Plus I was pretty much full throttle non stop. Lol! You’re very welcome and glad You like the videos! waiting for the 3S video, I actually seeing this video after I already decided to buy this truck. cool bashing, Can hardly tell its 2S. 3S will be interesting.

No you shouldn’t have an issue there. Just have to turn one car and remote on at a time so that the ESC of the car can learn which remote it’s bound to.
Thanks! I don’t have an MT8 yet. I’m thinking about getting one eventually. They seem like they don’t hold up as well due to the extra weight. Will probably try a beefier electric system on the mt10 first!
I keep being tempted to buy this truck. But the I see the associated sct 4pro 10 and get stuck deciding. I would just get both but my channel still has a long way to go hahahaha. They seem to have some similarly to arrma in the placement and organizing of the lay out.
I believe they still have it on Amain Hobbies. They just came out with a version two but it seems to be the same except for a new body. Yes one of my favorite trucks!
the mt10 is our favourite basher but it needs some tweaks, sevro change, wheel nut change, and ditch the nut covers, we run both 2 and 3s and its fun on 2 and crazy on 3, ive also changed wheels on mine so its even crazier
@@DerbyCityRC I did have fastrax nylock ones but I had 3 out of 8 fail on the mt10s so I've got steel ones on now as for wheels i went for jetko tomahawks after I damaged a stock wheel (hex burned out thanks to the fastrax nuts) and a full set of jetkos were about £8 more than a pair of stock and they have replaceable centres which has saved me having to buy another pair (the video at marley stadium on my channel shows them in action (21min in for 3s runs) sorry the videos not great i run stick radio and cant find a good camera mount)
Love this truck. Same chassis as the pro4 sc which is awesome also. If you want a tough and wildy fast rig get a redcat kaiju 6s. Not the new ext. The original. It's the toughest rig I own and I beat on that thing. Also a blast to jump it. I added silicone ear plugs to center and rear diff. And bearings over each drive cup that's it. One of my favorite rigs and what a performer! The only problem I had was the weak servo and server horn.
Definitely a fun truck!! I’ve also found the servo saver is loose causing the weaker turning as well.

Those JLB Cheetah wheelie bar wheels and bolt go right on the MT10. That's what I use and it does standing wheelies forever.

When doing front flips are you hard braking at the end of the ramp or right after the front leaves the ramp? I haven't been able to nail one yet..😢

I did not 😃
What run times do you get out of it?

Is these the first version
Yes
Ok so I put and heat sink/ fan and installed it into the auxiliary plug. It didn’t turn on. What am I doing wrong. Motor gets really hot
That’s odd. It’s possible it’s just a port for hooking up a program card.

If your motor is getting hot, drop the pinion a couple teeth. Temps are all based on proper gearing.
