I like the version 1 body more. The version 2 body colors don't harmonize well. The chassis and electronics seem to be identical. It's a great little truck. Super strong but the battery straps are not that great. They are a bit too short to really secure a 3s hard pack.
You are 100% right. I just bought 2 new GensAce hardshell packs and i cant get really get them tied down in the chassis😒
@@techspac3 I'm going to pick up some longer straps today and replace the stock ones. Straps for a 3s Arrma Granite should work ok.

Idk something about those massive wheel cutouts and the lack of fake exhaust tubes are bothering me. But hey, if it's made of the same material and everything else it's the same. It's a winner

Version 1 is better with those small details that will add rigidity with the chassis.

@@silversheep11 hey mate weird you say that. My servo on my V2 failed after the 6th run. New one incoming. My V1 still has stock servo bashed the crap out of it again yesterday😬
@@techspac3I meant as in power, but that must be pretty annoying. I’ve done a few hard bashes with mine and only had to replace the anti-roll bars and shock arms

Less is more for weight. Lighter truck will be quicker. It's not much but it's a lil lighter. I like it, might even buy a body to look like it's upgraded lol
True....it might be 50g lighter hahaha i think youre gonna have more stuff flying into the chassis with those wide open wheel arches...luckily for the dust cover that comes with it👍🏻

Versio 2 should come with side steps and exhaust. Look closely at the box. All pictures are pictured with them on. I’ve emailed team associated and they’ve clarified that the v2 should have steps and exhausts and they are sending me them.

Hello mate just to let you no team associated have just got the chassis sets in stock. And they’ve posted mine out today. As they’ve said all version 2 s should come with side steps and exhaust.
Also I’ve now also purchased a brand new version 1 of my pal. He’s had it in his garage for a year and half and not used it once. So I’ve had it.

I have a speed comparison video coming soon. It might have an impact on the speed aswell...looks like those big gaps at the wheels might let in some more air and ultimately brake the car....but well have to see in the V1 & V2 camparison video coming soon....🙂

So with this car i saw a combo kit which includes a battery and charger. Is the battery in the combo kit worth buying?
If you plan on running a 2s lipo and dont have a charger... yes , i wouldnt as it is such a beast on 3s. Rather get the car and buy a 3s battery and charger for couple coin more than the combo kit🤙🏻

I don't know much about rcs I'm actually looking at this video because I'm concidering the mt10 to be my first. How ever I do know electricity and someone correct me If I'm wrong but shorter wires means lower resistance which increases the amperage able to flow through the wires resulting in higher power output to the motor. And for those who don't know how to calculate that you can look into ohms law
You might be right. Doesnt take away from the fact that it was more to save money then anything else in my opinion🙂

Nope Mate...these are the Brushless versions of V1 & V2👍🏻

There is absolut no difference between v1, v2 or even brushed version. Just body and electronics. And in case of the body, the brushed version is the most beautiful.

I found the V2 body just loves to pop the rear body mounts through the back, much less of a problem on the V1.

The Maxx wheelbase is too long for a monster truck.
Yup i agree scale wise its not the besy fitting for the word but its still considered a basher monster truck in my opinion atleast👍🏻

i still can't convince myself to buy this truck, they inflated the price of the old one to match the V2 and the old one is now out of stock everywhere, marketing at it's finest.
Its a pitty...the V1 is a legend!
They cut out plastic and detail from body and shell to keep the price the same lol. V2 is ugly af compared to v1.
