    As a Canadian of French ancestry the Bloc Québécois party needs to be outlawed and banned like they were the national Unity party of world War II. Ethnocentrism and nationalism is wrong no matter who does it.

      Canadians can send anyone they want to represent them in Ottawa .There is nothing to stop westerners from sending a west or an Alberta party representative that is democracy.       Doubtful. NDP -25 Seats & Bloc 33 Seats are all in safe ridings. Look at Winnipeg this week. NDP support barely changed from the last election, and they held the seat.

    The NDP and BLOC have already said they will vote with the Liberals. No suspense, no story. Reality : The election is 400 Days from today. October 25, 2025. In fact all Parties agreed to extend the time between elections to accommodate this date. 80 MP's get their Pension the day before.

    The Conservatives are our only hope to get Canada back on it's feet. Listening to Singh and Trudeau just cements my view that the Conservatives under Pierre are the only way to make this happen.

      It's not a provincial party, it's a federal party. Hence why it has seats in the federal Parliament.
      It's certainly a regional party. But those have existed since Canada became a country. Reform was a regional party. The CCF started as one.

    Singh really did screw himself, the Bloc supporting the Liberals was pretty set in stone. With Singh knowing that he could have still voted against the Liberals to try and save face, but for whatever reason it seems like he is too focused on distancing himself from the Conservatives, which is odd considering the party platforms. Knowing how polar opposite the parties are on policy nobody would be considering the two of them to be aligned whatsoever.
