Stack bond (all halfs) would have done the same job. Things like that get a few people new to bricklaying. As they think everything should be "half bond" but its no big deal mate, you got there 💪💪 looks mint
Every brick you lay and every bit of plaster you put on the wall will help you get better and better. These are skills that will come in useful through the rest of your life..
You can score the bricks too all the way around then one final hit at the end instead of using a saw…I used to do with a saw until I saw Izzy the Bricky do it with scoring with a bolster on your breeze blocks …just an idea hard work cutting by hand saw!
@@reno_with_us maybe they wanted you to work harder?! Doing it with bolster and then one final hit scoring it seems to d the same job! I’d go with what’s easier I will anyway!
Rather than struggle lifting the mixer onto the stand why not tilt the mixer forward , then you can slot the stand onto the mixer and lever the whole thing up in one go..
I’m no expert; like you I’m a Pro DIY’er, but this looks top shelf, mate.
👍🏻💂♂️🇬🇧
Thanks mate, appreciate it.
I can’t lie it took me ages🤣 but I’m happy with the end result 👍

Thanks mate, yeah that was the only thing that got me. Glad it’s no big deal though👍
Beautiful work buddy. Your skills are getting better, but not just with DIY, but with editing and putting out a quality vid. All will keep improving!
Thank you mate!
it’s comments like yours that give us extra motivation, we appreciate it👍
Dude that was fantastic. Really impressed with your work. Considering you’re not in the industry 👏👏
Thanks mate!

Exactly mate, that’s my exact thinking behind it!
In bricklaying you don’t want any cut smaller than a half at the window reveal. Put a half brick at the window frame then put a 3/4 in next to it .
That’s good to know for future, I was unsure because on other windows it’s a similar situation. But I’ll keep that in mind, thanks mate👍🏻

I did that method on a previous video & everyone said to use a saw🤣 both get the job done but definitely prefer the score & bolster one

That’s a good point🤣
