The same Holy Spirit who entered the children of the first church as a visible exterior force, is the Same Spirit which is Within you as a Potential as you are born. This is the strange work that the prophets spoke about. all human beings are born with the Potential of Christ. Jesus likens it to a Seed, He also explains in His teachings the things which shall germinate this seed, and cause it to grow and come into bloom. This Interior Work is study, prayer, and a life that Reflects All that Jesus taught you. All Virtue belongs to God Alone, and He is the ground they are Rooted in. This means if you Desire to Reflect those virtues, you must Ask God in Christ to Reveal Himself Within You. This is How you Unite with God, Not by merely agreeing with Him Intellectually, but by Actually Living with Him Spiritually, Truly you shall not Taste Death, but you Must Ask Him to Lead your Inner Life, so that He shall make it as His Own. Remember. God is a Unity of HImself and His Children, there is no Division within Our Living God, He is One, and We are One with Him and in Him.

    Happy Pentecost Father! :)
I have a question, what does it mean when Christ says ‘If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.’? So, how do I ‘come’ to Christ?
And how do I know whether I am seeking Christ with all my heart?

I cannot answer that question in this format. But if you are seeking Chrst He will find you.

I was trying to join an Orthodox Church or try out a service but they never got back to me.
I’m Not sure what to believe now.
I know a Jewish family that don’t have an issue with out of marriage sex.
As “what if you get married and divorced, or your partner dies. You will marry again and have sex with another.”
And “everyone does it, even in Israel unless your Orthodox”.
And I’m I right in thinking you aren’t supposed to remarry?
Anyway all that stuff and more disheartens me.
    Is there answers to these?

God bless you! Have another go at attending a church. Some Orthodox Churches are not geared up for caring for enquirers and have no understanding or training for helping people come to Christ. They are often chaplaincies to ethnic communities and are also often in a downward spiral which will lead to their eventual extinction. So be prepared to try several. Having said that some of these very "chaplaincies" are fantastic places with really encouraging faith and a wonderful depth of spirituality.
Judaism: yes... like so many in the West they too can be infected with post-religious ideals. However, that is not our business.
Being disheartened: that is exactly what Satan likes to hear. He is brilliant at putting things that dishearten in front of us with the hope that we'll concentrate of that rather than on our Lord Jesus Christ who is both God and Saviour. You will remember how St Peter sank into the sea when he removed his gaze from Christ and looked at the waves? This is the same with us: when we take our attention of the Lord Jesus we sink.
There is a lost to get disheartened about! You'll find lots of preachers who do very well drawing our attention to these things but... why would you want to concentrate on the bad stuff of Satan when we can concentrate on Christ?
Give yourself a hug from me, open up your Gospels and read about the Lord.
      God bless you!
