Good stuff. I find myself using ShaperBox quite a bit since buying it and recently I found myself wishing it had a reverb effect I could drop into the middle of its effects chain, so it looks like the wish has been granted. This will be fun to play with.
Super fun right!? Just what the collection needed and keeps everything in one tidy place which of course I'm a fan of! CableGuys is giving 3 ReverbShapers away in our Inspired By Beat Battle this Sunday so join us on the Discord if you want to be in with a chance!
WHOA! Had almost forgot about SB in the endless jungle of awesome VSTs these days. But this new reverb addon seems really really cool, I must get it.. :D Loads of tips here man, thanks a bunch. Time to yet again update my main template hehe.. ;) Awesome video Will!! 🎉🎉❤
The updates never stop!! Yes, it's super benefical to add this to the arsenal of VolumeShaper and FilterShaper (which I predominantly use) I can imagine you getting lots of nice dubs, swooshes and sparkly-bits from ReverbShaper in your work bud!
Hi Will, another splendid tutorial. I love using Shaperbox more and more. One question: your pre-delay setting can be set to beats instead of milliseconds, very useful. I am using the latest version of the plugin, but only see milliseconds. How did you change that? Greetings, Alex
Just a thing to mention Will, I've been experiencing UI lag in Ableton Live's recent update (11.3 onward) in which they've changed some warping features or w/e, nevertheless the sudden UI lag made it super annoying especially while using 3d party plugins and the bizarre thing is that my PC is a powerhouse...so after reinstalling it a couple of times, eventually I was forced to bounce all of my projects made in 11.3 to audio stems and downgrade to 11.2. Pain 😮💨Since I've noticed some UI lag on the ReverbShaper you demonstrated and if in any case you experience the same glitchy UI, downgrading to 11.2 and disabling auto-update on the first instance solves it. Am a fan and as always thanks for the best vids!
Really appreciate this check-in bud, we were discussing this on yesterdays stream. There has been some bugs with 11.3 and I think with the overwhelming response, Ableton would be quick to patch this (we hope!) I haven’t experienced lag (I’m on a Mac M1 by the way) but I’ve experienced some loooooong loading times, sometimes just selecting a track will cause Ableton to start rainbow-wheeling!
You have probably noticed, but Cableguys recently released a new update reducing the CPU usage of the plugin. If you are using an external harddrive for your plugins, then I would advise you to remove any other files on that harddrive that have nothing to do with the plugins, or switch harddrive that is more powerful, preferably with USB-C cable input and output.
I wonder if reverb shaper can detect some external reverbs and apply any of it's features to it. Probably not, but would be dope. Like if I already have something down printed and like the reverb on it, I wonder if I could use reverb shaper to still affect it.
Hmm, like my bonus tip of importing your own IR’s into ReverbShaper or ReverShapee ACTUALLY analysing that extra reverb on a sample and imitating the space? I wouldn’t be surprised but there might need to be some jiggary-pokery under the hood to find out!
TH-cam algorithm finally working i guess as it finally recommended me something good.. Nice content.. I've subscribed
Cableguys Reverbshaper... nice. I love Shaperbox and now they've added a reverb!!!! Always informative. Thanks for this.

Right!? I was really scratching my head thinking, I haven’t seen this built in before!?
Thank for the tips
Happy to help!

Fantastic content, as always. Love it!
Shaperbox is such a great plugin - so versatile.
Agreed!
And thanks for the kind words of support!
The Decay Ducking feature of Sondtoys' SuperPlate seems like it could also provide a degree of tail-clearing effect.
