I was an early adopter of the Allpowers S2000 and have to say that when it worked, it was really good. In fact I loved it and recommended it to friends. But I'd now think twice about using it in a mobile environment. It's simply not robust enough. The very first time I took it away in the caravan it broke. Something inside shook loose and started rattling. It no longer charges from mains though everything else works. There were no falls, no bumps and it was secured on a foam cushion as are my Lithium batteries. I contacted Allpowers directly and asked where I could get it fixed (at my own cost), they said i'd have to buy a new one. Yes, I can still charge it from solar but that's hardly practical in a Scottish winter. Essentially they are not interested, so after little more than a year it was a £1200 brick. I absolutely intend to buy a replacement but sadly it will definitely NOT be an Allpowers.
this video has made me happy. I have just purchased this and am awaiting delivery. I have read a couple of reviews elsewhere which made me very dubious of my purchase. i/e have I done the right thing. However, after seeing your review and another , I am a happy man now. Thank you for this very informative review.
Adam great video as always, what would be great is to see auto or manual switches to be able to turn off the standard gpo’s connected to normal appliance as you showed this way easily isolating them if for some reason ones forget they are connected
Just took the same milk heater on my trip to Ningaloo (470w draw from another brand) for a first class coffee while camping! My MUX with many extras thanks to your other videos handled the trip with ease, though Airbags are required to get a more level ride towing before I repeat. And would it be more power efficient to run the Startlink from 12v directly rather than the 220v through the inverter?
Hey, yes there's a mod you can do to use 12v so you don't have to convert, I just ran out of time before the cape trip. Will def do in the future though 👍
I just got my ALLPOWERS pro but the battery meter is not accurate. It cuts out completely at 10-11% and when charge from completely flat it jump straight to 100% from 85%. They told me to cycle battery from 100%-0% then 0%-100% a few times to recalibrate the meter but it doesn’t rectify it. Does yours have similar issue?
@@VideoShowMeHow Cut out around 10% during discharge and jump to 100% sudden from 85% during charge. The app reads the same value. They are willing to send me a replacement but just wondering if it is a common issue.
I bought one of these for £2000.00 and although it works ok as a power pack it won’t charge on the solar input without going into a fault. I contacted the company who sent me a replacement and now I have 2 power packs that won’t charge on solar without faulting. When they go into fault it flashes an error code and the only way to clear it is to leave it for a few hours to clear itself and then I find the battery level has gone to 0% and I have to charge it on mains to bring it back to life. I still use them but I really wanted the solar charging to work.
Hi mate may I ask I had mine delivered today and when I spin it upside down... I hear broken pieces and there is something of weight moving inside ... does your one wobble inside ??
@@VideoShowMeHow Would you be able to use one of the 100W USB C ports to recharge it (eg using a usb car charger etc) while the xt60 port is simultaneously recharging through solar, etc? This can be done with iTechWorld power stations, with a similar issue of a single input port.
Be aware of the inferior quality of Allpowers: We bought a previos S700 model not even 1.5 years ago and it just died completely this month. Allpowers doesn't care at all, so we had to bring a 400+ USD device to recycling right away. No we bought an Ecoflow, hope it's better quality.
Two time sucker/Ecoflow owner here and that company is the worst I've dealt with. I bought two of their Delta River Max systems that use the expandable battery and each one have died in just under two years. I only bought the second one because it was on sale at $250 compared to when I bought the first one at $500+ and an extra $250 for the expandable battery basically wasting my last stimulus check. If you want a good system please check out Renogy, I bought the Phoenix briefcase and at 5 years in its outlasted two systems more powerful than it.
@@shaneheff8197 I bought the ecoflow delta 2 max and it works good so far since 2 months. Unfortunately, I don't have any long term experience with the ecoflow yet.

@VideoShowMeHow yes but I've only recoved the item today and do not want to got stuck with theses types of problems. As if you google this. It's not just me. I'm an engineer and would take this apart to see why it's bot working and fix it. But why should I for over a £1000 pounds.

am i right in thinking that this powerbank can only run those two halogen lights for around 45 minutes from full charge to empty?
Are they easy to contact will there be problems claiming the warranty?

So these are imported? no local distributor? The new R2500 looks the goods too.
Thanks for the reviews.
Online via the website only I believe mate

Hello, how many cycles does it last?
Very nice review!
Hi, do you know how much these cost in Aus? Thanks
Hello.
Having issues with the app won’t turn on or off had to delete & install the app again & again.
Hello sir. Please help me to fix mine. It doesn't charge no more
Hi mate may I ask I had mine delivered today and when I spin it upside down... I hear broken pieces and there is something of weight moving inside ... does your one wobble inside ??
No didn't have this issue? Maybe message the manufacturer that doesn't sound right
Can you hurt the power station if you plug something in that takes a lot of watts?
No, the BMS will protect it
Can you use it and have it charging at the same time? Thank you!!!
Yep
Hi mate I’ve just got my self one of these but sadly I can’t get the usb to work to recharge my tablet also my phone . Enemy I dears ?
Is the 'DC' switched on?

So you can’t charge it off solar and car at once?
Hmm not by default, I didn't have a double xt60 to test unfortunately

Ok it seems the usbc is output only, so only can use the xt60 for DC or the rear plug for ac

How do you find the eco flow now?

why the gloves?
Why not?
It will blowout when you go to recharge it. I don't think it has any circuit protection or reset button. Do not buy.

i am pleased to say they eventually supplied me with a replacement which seems to work a lot more efficiently than the original purchase
