RYOBI weed whip thrown away.. Can we fix it? Advanced lawn and garden Julington creek plantation St. John’s Florida Landscaping business tool review and fix Shaft repair @RYOBITOOLSUSA
Hi, my robi 2 stroke rlt254fcdsn, cutting head moves only a bit when throttle is push down to max. Should I change the clutch or is it it the drive shaft?
My ryobi is 30 years old, I've done everything to it except replace the ignition coil and cylinder, mostly using trash- picked parts. Lately though, this model is rare to find.
Dude this is my exact problem. I hope you just saved me a lot of time. Going to try now

The model in the video? Or yours?
@@AdvancedLawn my 30yr old trimmer is hard to find parts for.
My shat did not pop back in. Do you have a link on how to fix it?
My ryobi snapped a lower drive shaft and it aeemes the bearing is pressed in to the shaft ..not sure if anybody has repaired one
Dude, wear your seat belt! I'm having a problem with the motor shaft mating properly with the shaft in the attachments.
You usually need to pound the shaft back into the tube
👍🏾
I have an issue with the same model on the attachments part of the shaft, they keep spinning and not lock anymore any ideas on how to fix that????
Yes. You can tap the inner shaft back into the tube and see if it pops back in.
If it didn't come with a lower arm I suspect the lower shaft broke and isn't replaceable
you can get several attachments for that weed eater even a stupid blower attachment
