  • Exploring two wrecks just south of Bermuda - “The King" is a 1941 tugboat built in South Carolina as a Navy tug and later brought to Bermuda to be used as a dive and treasure salvage vessel. The nearby "Forceful" is a more recent addition - also a tugboat purposely sunk in 2009 as an artificial reef and dive site.

Saw you on Dive Talk. Your skills are amazing. Very calm, assured freediver. Beautiful videos Egor. Keep sharing please. ❤️
I envy your skill. When I was in my 20's, I could freedive almost 4 minutes. Now that I am 63, I am happy to get a minute. But I SCUBA Dive so I get there and stay longer. 🙂
    Thank you again for sharing.
    Dive safe.

You know, you hear this a lot in the freediving community but this sport unlike many others doesn't really have an age limit. Case in point, my coach for one of my more advanced courses was Aharon Solomons.. he is in his 80s and he still freedives and has a VERY impressive breath hold. Just goes to show that with some training I'm sure you get back to (or close) the same level you were in your 20s.

@@egornesterenko4782 I am working on my time, I know it is an accumulated skill. So maybe by the time I am 80, I will be back up in the 4 minute range. Thanks for the encouraging words. 🙂

Wow, amazing. How deep is "The King"?. And how do you get there? (I see that you may need a boat ride).

Its off of the south shore. You'll find it easily with a quick google search. Its not very deep. THis is one of the more accessible wrecks which are also fully intact. Go check it out !
