I know this isn’t super recent but be careful with purina- it gave my old dog cancer and when he passed away we saw that other pet parents said the same thing that their dog also developed cancer after eating it
Edit: also I’m sure people have told you this but in the future rawhide could be hard to digest so it’s not the best for dogs and greenies can break into sharper pieces when they chew them so just watch as they eat to make sure it doesn’t happen and they don’t eat it too fast (sorry if I sound like I’m being rude that’s not my intention this is just my experience having dogs) but I love your dog I’m getting an Australian shepherd soon she will be born in the next few days! I love the red Merle’s that’s my dream dream dog but I’m getting a blue Merle :)

@@isaacarmenta824 I like the Orijen dog food or Fromm but you should also see what your dog responds well to! :) Merrik is another good one as well from what I’ve researched.
Beautiful puppy! I just wanted to let you know that rawhide is so bad for dogs.

@@marleyandliana I was going to say that. No hate at all and I’m not trying to tell you how to raise your dog but rawhide is not digestible and if he accidentally swallows large pieces it it can get stuck in his esophagus and you will need a surgery to remove it or he will have to vomit it up at the vet. He could choke on it and it can course blockages. You seem like a very good dog mom and I know you only want what’s best for your pup! Good luck with training❤️

@@marleyandliana any sort of toy that can be filled with food! rubber kongs and those wobble kongs are great

@@Hannekeee Well actually the lady was having fist fights and drama me it’s her daughter and said no so we went on pet finder and found a beautiful 2 year old female Belgian Mallinois we think is more loving than Rooster and she was about the get put down because she killed a chicken and has never been properly trained so we are in puppy classes and fostering her for 2 weeks and if everything goes okay and her foster mother says yes then we will keep her!
Update we adopted Georgia and since we live next to the largest dog park in Washington I take her there everyday and we have been living to the fullest. She already made a boyfriend with our neighbor’s chocolate lab. If you have any questions feel free to ask!

@@ilovemyaihusbandsfr I actually didn’t get a Australian Shepard because the lady was mega and said she didn’t want anyone to adopt him and he’s better off being in the street, so I adopted a two year old Belgian Malinois a few days after that happened, I used petfinder to adopt and not shop a puppy/dog near you and the profile will be there talking about the dog.
Just something to consider
The divider is important to use so the puppy has less accidents in the crate not that you have to she probably just will have to clean the kennel more often because of potty accidents because they have more space to pee and then cuddle up in a corner on the other side

How big is the crate you bought him?
I got the extra large one for him to grow into and also have extra free space to be comfortable. Aussies are generally medium sized dogs, so it will be extra roomy for him :)
