I'm always annoyed that they show so many strikeouts but don't show all the hits. Hits are more interesting to watch than strikeouts as a general rule. At least there's more action going on. I don't know why the highlight editors are so much more fond of strikeouts.
To just show that there is a man on base before the homerun. I'm a Mariners fan, and these comments make me puke. Ya'll are such victims. Get over it.

Bryan Woo was absolutely dominant tonight against a good lineup. 2 Ks of Soto one of the best lefties in the game. Woo made a change to his pitch mix halfway through last year that improved his numbers against lefties and that's shown to be true so far this season. D-Mobile Park owns the Jankees and Luke Raley just hits. Expectation was 2-2 in New York and we've already got that after 2 games. Wouldn't mind picking up 1 more for the series win, but I'm already fine with this result as is.

Yankees and Philly best two teams.. we handed them 2 losses.... I know the previous off season comments about win percentage were...... off putting by Dumpotto... but... Damn if Polanco can get back to form, JP still good.... Moore CANT b e out of line up now...

JP is a great presence and clutch. Not the most consistent at times but earns his due. Classic balllplayer
Rojas had a real good 1st AB probably because he was more relaxed returning to the bottom of the lineup. Moore would probably hit anywhere now, but I'm sure it didn't hurt for him to relax hitting at the bottom of the order either. All possible since JP is back.
Dominic canzone making two diving plays makes him look so good.
I was bummed we lost Sewald for Rojas and Canzone, but so far this year. I'm starting to see that the trade came out P good for the M's.

Much more heated in the mid 90s early 2000s. I think Mariners fans enjoy beating the Yanks more than anyone outside division. They have crushed our dreams a few times tbh

Lesson learned... Don't underestimate the Mariners
The Ms rotation is one the best in baseball. More times than not they'll give them a chance to win. It all rest on how hot or cold the offense is that night. Dmo has been a big boost over the last week or two.

I honestly thought they should have traded woo this offseason for a bat due to concerns over his injury history. I know he has only three starts this year but he has been money. I was at the game in Seattle for his first start of the year and they pulled him as a precaution but dude has been putting them away and saving his arm by having such a light pitch count. Hoping he can keep this up and stay healthy cause he has been elite to start this year. Also play Dylan Moore at all costs man has been light out on offense recently.
You'd think a team would bounce back after an embarassing 9th inning blown save, but nope, the Yankees do the complete opposite. They struggle with the defeat and start a losing streak.
They were trying to get the bad taste outta their mouths from the night before, a lot of impatience at the plate, swinging & hacking.

That strike zone for right handed mariners hitters was really wide today. I think I counted 6 pitches well outside the zone called strikes. God I hate umpires who line up on the inside to much.

Another terrible highlight reel. We see a player standing on base panting, maybe spitting, while the announcers say he just hit a double or whatever. So we get to find out that something happened, but we don't get to see it. Before Cabrera's last at bat, there were two Yankees on base. How did that happen? Who makes these highlight reels? Someone who doesn't care about baseball? Or is it just assembled by ai?
would have loved to see more of that bottom 9th, would have added to the tension. Also, just saying someone hit a double is stupid, just show the highlight ffs.

@@jaydee5447Mariners have arguably the best rotation in baseball, some solid relief pitchers and one of the best closers in all of MLB. The mariners offense does 1 thing really good, they drive up pitch counts and force teams to over use their bullpen then they go after those weaker pitchers. Are they some high scoring offense god no. Are they good? Absolutely, their style of winning isn’t flashy and doesn’t look dominant but it gets the job done.

You know what kinda annoys me now thst i think about it? The ump covering home plate made wrong calls all night on balls and strikes and the ONE time he made a wrong call on the Yankees (first pitch called strike which was clearly a ball) resulted in a home run for Torres instead of the walk it would have been if called correctly
