Dirt Rally 2.0 is a racing video game developed and published by Codemasters for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It was released on February 25th, 2019. The game is the thirteenth title in the Colin McRae Rally series and the seventh title to carry the Dirt name. It is a successor to the 2015 video game Dirt Rally and emphasises realistic driving physics.
DiRT Rally 2.0 dares you to carve your way through a selection of iconic rally locations from across the globe, in the most powerful off-road vehicles ever made, knowing that the smallest mistake could end your stage.
You will need to rely on your instincts with the most immersive and truly focused off-road experience yet, including a new authentic handling model, tyre choice and surface degragation. Power your rally car through real-life off-road environments in New Zealand, Argentina, Spain, Poland, Australia and the USA, with only your co-driver and instincts to guide you.
Race on eight official circuits from the FIA World Rallycross championship, complete with licensed Supercars and support series.

the commenter The Codemaster games have always had the most realistic rollover physics I’ve ever seen as far as I’m concerned. If you’ve ever seen a vehicle start flipping on dirt, gravel, or anything that creates a large amount of friction then you’d know this is pretty accurate.

Man the graphics are incredible but... what are those damage physics? I loved DiRT for being the most realistic rally game for that (even if it wasn't very realistic) but for this one, there's almost no damages to the cars! :(

In the first dirt rally the driver actually stopped holding the steering wheel and braced himself in that kind of situation. Idk why they didnt do that in dirt rally 2

They are using polycarbonate aka plastic on most touring and of course rally cars these days, because safety and WEIGHT REDUCTION BRO.

Im thinking of buying this one , i really love rally and this game meets all my expectations. Is it harder to handle the car if you dont have a steering wheel controller?
I played it with controller before my steering wheel. it's a little hard with default settings a little tweak can help

The damage model is there, ik it's limited but it's there, why it takes so much to break pieces off? The first roll video should have bumpers doors and bonnets flying

It's the same with the f1 series another game made by codemasters. The sponsors simply dont want their ads being destroyed
Believe me these cars are as fragile as glass. While you may not see it, you definitely feel it in the vehicles handling. Even the smallest slip up and your car is gonna act unhappy.

I used to just crash the cars all the time to watch the damage physics.
Also, I never noticed how the center of mass of the cars seem to be below the actual car. It looks so weird and stands out like a sore thumb when rolling on its side over and over.
