there was a movie called panic in needle park with al pacino but its set in nyc i believe from memory. the streets look a lot cleaner. not so much trash on the ground. good to see. thanks for the tour toon man
Thanks to your comment, I found the film on the Internet. It seems to be one of the first films with Al Pacino. He plays a drug addict in this movie (1971).
That movie was just on over the air TV last week. It was on that MoviesTV channel. Usually it's movies from the 30s, 40s & 50s. But they show later movies too.
Hopefully it keeps getting better. And people get help. But they want to want the help...at 5:00 I know that block thats a Septa station Allegheny, Kensington corner

They definitely keep it confined to certain areas , that is true in most cities . They have redlines they enforce. The areas they are cleaning up are the area new condos and commercial properties will start being built

As you can see, it's a whole lot better than it used to be. They've been cleaning things up. You still have a few people here and there, but from what it used to be, it's a whole lot better. To be honest, the problem is still there. They just move around. The only difference is that you have less people than before. Some has gotten their lives together while the rest is either locked up or has passed away from over dose or killed. It's improving though.The biggest problem is the crime that's happening. Crime has gone up, especially the killings and carjackings.Too much shootings and carjackings going on and it's mainly coming from young kids. I can deal with the addicts. It's the crime that I can't deal with. You are pretty much not safe anywhere.

i have a good friend who is a Philly NARCO... he said the new Mayor is putting full resources into Kensington to clean it up
Sounds like she's using citizens resources to get rid of the homeless instead of helping them with housing and medical treatments
