I loved the ASMR (paper cutter) teacher edition! Organizing it all ahead of time, makes for a smoother year when things start to get hectic! Thanks for the tips.
I have been putting your coloured example on the smart board during lessons and printing some colour copies at home of the anchor charts to use at a small table in class for kids who need to catch up or have a copy in front of them. I should make my own notebook!
I love that idea! I also show the PDF up on the board so that the example is larger for the kids to see :). The kids do like seeing an actual example notebook though just in terms of page spacing and proportions.
Hey Alicia! Haha yes I thought about doing a teachers ASMR video lol - it was fun to add in those little snippets 😊. I’ll have to do a new video with paper cutting, pencil sharpening, wiping the board, fixing books, etc 😅
I've made a physical notebook as well. However, I make the anchor chart ahead of time and photocopy it to hand out to the kids. They just glue it in their books. I leave blanks for them to fill in. I did this because the particular class I have was taking a long time to complete the charts. I use my document camera to display my notebook for reference.
That’s a great idea! I’ve also thought about making black and white versions included so that teachers have the option of just printing and then colouring/filling it in - would that be something that you think other teachers would use also?
How can the students see that tiny picture? haha I made an exemplar for each of the journals... but I screenshot your examplar and I post it on the smart board for students to use
Hi Michelle, thanks for your interest! I am considering creating this during the next school year but I don't have it in my plans to be available for September 2024 yet, sorry!
Oh, that is exciting that you will be doing a grade 2 edition of your language arts program! I am so excited! I will wait patiently! Can you offer suggestions of what other 2nd grade teachers at your school are teaching for language arts? 😊

I think so. I like the resource as it is because it uses less paper but the way I do it takes the kids less time.

Is the exemplar included in your ELA package? That's the only thing I'm worried about! Otherwise I'm ready to buy!
Hi 👋🏻 My notebooks include the full notebook in exemplar format! 👌🏻
Can you create a grade 2 language arts notebook please!🥺
