A practical question. How do I as a 3rd mate have to check all crew imm.suits? Or ask the crew to check it all by themselves?
You will announce in PA system, that all crew requested to keep their lifejackets and immersion suits outside their cabins for inspection, than after lunch you can inspection all of them

If Ship is more than 10 years of age then immersion suit pressure testing interval is every 2 years.
Correct me if am wrong.
MSC circ. 1114 says annually, it is read as ...for ships more than 10 years old, pressure testing requirements should be more frequently 2Y/1Y and depending upon flag state requirements and condition of immersion suits, however in orals just say 1 yearly...that will b fine and accepted.
Sir can u please say how to do pressure testing of kapler gas tight suit model EC DIRECTIVE 89/686/EEC..need the procedure immediately sir..do u have any experience on this?

Suit bag you can do sewing on it, if instruction is not visible or faded, you can laminate the procedure and post is outside suit

Yes, provided u have testing kit onboard, than you can !
When is this inspection carried out? Weekly, monthly, quarterly?
Monthly for general inspection and 6 monthly for checking retroflective
