Our essential works deserve beyond respect. We shouldn't be having this conversation when it is a human right for people to be respected. Delivery rides go the extra mile to serve us with patience, stress and even risking their lives, queuing for food for us. What an entitled bunch these Singaporeans are, when a real calamity occurs that is Singapore specific, the country will topple upside down when everyone has the 'Every man for himself' mentality.

This rider had my respect. Be it essential workers or not. If those people so called them self as customer had some respect for others and themselves, they for sure will be treated professionally and deserve to be well treated.
Not just my self being a essential worker, sometime when i see how our people specially Chinese are just making our race look stupid and demanding. Always urgent, need it quick this and that. Minor sense of being a human also do not know. Being more patience and understanding will make this world a better place.

At least some of the people causing trouble are the workers themselves arguing with each other. 2:37 is a delivery guy trying to fight with cashier staff. There are troublemakers in all generations. You don't get a free pass.

i think one very essential worker that is often not considered are nurses. they bear the brunt of nasty families, impatient patients, and they are not in public, meaning the inappropriate things done against them often go unnoticed. they work long hours, have to provide their best attitude for all their patients, and have to meet the needs of the maybe 10-20 patients under their care. worst of all they are discriminated against the most because people see them as virus carriers.

  • @highstandards6226

I've done my best to pass along the perks I've gotten by picking up my own food at drive throughs to other "essential workers" also waiting to pick up orders, as they're not getting those perks.

Without all these delivery guys and workers who are willing to do jobs , the nation would not be safely & comfortably quarantine in their own houses.Stop doing assaults to essential & foreign workers, even as Malaysian foreign workers in Singapore,we had been treated with vulgar words and hatred.Respect each other .

All this talk about how we care about essential workers is just talk in countries around the world. Just compare the salaries that these people make to the CEOs and Singapore politicians. If the there is real concern, then increase the amount they make and decrease the outrages incomes of those other people, narrow the wealth gap.

But you people mostly are MF rude, mean, disrespectful, greedy! We're tired to make everyone's safe by social distancing, put mask on (at least 8-10 hours a day, from going to work till got home from work). But you people doesn't care, what matters are you people get what you want! (This is happen in everywhere in the world during this pandemic)

Probably she’s all alone... I stopped watch after that ..... They really pick their battles well, should have gone to Robertson quay, Holland Village, Marine Bay Promotory, etc....
