      “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.” God loved us so much that, he sent his only son Christ to die and rise again so that we can be forgiven of our sins. Christ is real, and he’s the only way to heaven. If you die without Christ, you will go to hell, as Christ is the only one who can save you from the hellfire. Before I knew Christ, I was stuck in my sins. I always had sinful thoughts, but when I came to him, he changed me, and if he can change me, then he can change you. Christ is knocking at the door of your heart, and if you let him in, he will feast with you, and you with him. Come to Christ before it’s too late, judgement is coming

      Basically, popcorn is made from kernels with the air and water created steam, allowing them to unfold into popcorn. If you place them in a metal tin like seen here, you don’t allow steam to be created due to there being no space in the small space. When you open the container in a bag, steam is allowed to be created due to an increase in volume so the kernels immediately pop into popcorn allowing for this device to work❤

      @@j.calvert3361 it's not so much that it pops I just wasn't expecting that all that could fit in there and not get stuck. Now that I actually watch it tho you can see it all burst out lol the pressure of that much made it fire out. Looks like it might need oxygen and release of pressure valve to actually pop so it all goes at once that's crazy smart invention damn

    • @pizzlerot2730
      @pizzlerot2730 ปีที่แล้ว +37

      @@maddielovelee it's not so much the presence or absence of oxygen. What actually makes the corn pop is water turning into steam inside of the kernel, with the hard shell holding in a little bit of pressure until a threshold is reached and the kernel pops. When under pressure in the vessel here, though, the water remains in a liquid state at a much higher temperature; but when the pressure is suddenly released and drops back down to ~1 atmosphere, the superheated water inside of the kernel flash-vaporizes, causing the kernels to violently pop and also slightly caramelizing the starches present. The result is a fluffier popcorn than typical popping as well as a more complex flavor profile. It's actually just reproducing the normal processes that happen inside of the dried kernel but to a much greater extent, and it's quite brilliant (and super cool to watch lol) 👍

    • @pizzlerot2730
      @pizzlerot2730 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      It's because this method produces a fluffier popcorn, so you get more volume out of the kernels

  • @jamescunningham541
    @jamescunningham541 ปีที่แล้ว +1915

    Mythbusters did a segment on this. Super cool. They used a huge kettle that was very violent and produced a bathtub of popcorn at a time. The pressure in the vessel keeps the kernels from popping even while heated. As soon as that lid pops so does all the popcorn! I wonder how far the popcorn would go if it had been launched into the air at a 45° angle? Also, did anyone notice that the popcorn is darker than regular American air popped popcorn is? I’m thinking that delaying the popping by pressure has the side effect of getting the popcorn hotter so that it self-caramelizes. Imagine breeding an ultra high-sugar popping corn for this purpose and a special pressure cooking electronic, automatic machine to make the most exquisite internally caramelized popcorn.

Freshly popped rice puffs were then put in a huge tray mixing with malt sugar or warm caramel to be cutting into small rice puffs squares, kind of like Rice Krispies but tasted a whole lot more delicious!!! 😊
