intuitively and from growing other non-aquatic rhizomes plants like ginger, lager rhizomes produce faster growth in the following season. but as i was watching this i had a second thought of whether the number of leaf nodes has any impact? is it because longer rhizomes have more stored energy or is it that it has more growth points that is the greater factor? presumably the high light Anubias would have had more nodes per length of rhizome?
I'm not sure tbh, would be cool to compare in the future. All the plants used in this experiment are anubias nana. I expect the optimal rhizome length might vary a bit between anubias variants that are different in size (for example nana vs nana petite) but would probably be the same for variants that are similar size (like nana vs golden).
I used to remove all leaves from my anubias, they used to grow faster, but with smaller leaves in my immersed setup, interesting data from your experiments
This is science to me. Good job mate
Where the results ?
Fantastic! can you share the raw data of your experiments with us some how?

very interesting and helpful video - thx for your efforts!
Thanks for watching! :)
looking forward to the next one
Just send me some of those I am in dire need of them
By the way video was helpful
Keep it up bro
❤😊
Results?
my granddad was an avid gardener and he always insisted on his cuttings have the bare minimum of leaves left on them--often just one.
How long was this experimemt??
This one is still ongoing, but I'll be harvesting and processing the results soon. Total time will probably be around 5 months.
@@Widquaticsany updates to this experiment? I noticed you had a 2 second clip near the end of your fish room tour video.
Can you experiment with growing them on pieces of coconut shell ?
Were all rhizomes cut on both ends? Either way, I'm curious to see the results.
It's Time for the results😉😅🤗
On the length of rhyzome. Is it different for mini species of anubias? For example anubias nana & japan petite.
