I very much like your style of engraving, and hope someday to be that fast. I particularly liked the way you cut the nicks in the nick-and-dot border, as I have never seen it done that way. I will have to give it a try. Thanks.
Sure, speedomatic is fine, but I'd also like to see you do some cutting at non-caffeinated speeds and no music. I've got a lock to dress up soon. Will be my first to engrave. What I love about the "workmanlike engraving" is that we can clearly see a hand in the work--imperfections and asymmetry are human, perfection is not.
What did you attach the Brass with to hold it down ?
It's a thermoplastic. Get some from Amazon www.amazon.com/dp/B00VQXCXXM/?coliid=I2OJ15BW6NYYFX&colid=WPUI51ISPXJ0&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

Any videos inlaying metal furniture in the stock like German silver ?
I'll add it to the list. I do these as I work on my orders and no inlays are in the near future.
wow, like that it is not a perfect match side to side.
Most originals never were either, fast and out the door.
