It’s sad the we have a “fed is best” culture that denies the reality that breast milk is the best thing to feed our babies. Yes some people have circumstances that prevent them from producing milk but it doesn’t mean the science changes. That you for saying the truth and encouraging others on their breastfeeding journey. (To me pumping is also breastfeeding b/c it’s breast milk). It’s not an easy task but man is it worth it!
I’m pretty sure the saying, “fed is best” solely exists to take the pressure off moms to breastfeed. No one is denying that breast milk is best, but many, MANY moms aren’t able physically/mentally to breastfeed. We ALL do what’s best for our situation and our babies. The saying that fed is best just means it’s better to offer formula than hold our for breast milk and possibly keep the baby hungry.
I exclusively pumped with both my sons. I got the Elvie's after your last pumping video w/ your code. Between the Elvie's & vitamins I took from Pink Stork I pumped over 50oz a day. I loved being able to pump anywhere. I went to concerts, holiday parties, movies, and even on planes w/ my pumps. It was crazy how convenient they were.
Currently exclusively breastfeeding my 6 month old. 6 months going strong, I only breastfed my first for 3 months and had no clue about pumping then. Starting to pump now, thanks for this video!
Hmmm…I’m not sure! I feel like I’m not very helpful cuz I can’t give the answer! I just know they barely fit…(the flange pads are almost too big) but the sanding makes them stay put!

I love the skin to skin idea. I haven't heard that talked about before to transfer the "data" between baby and mama, but it totally makes sense.

Nope! My boobs only hurt the first couple weeks! More so when I was breastfeeding honestly 🤷🏻♀️
