Apparently Valantina is completely obsessed with playing the piano often playing for 12 hours in a day. It certainly shows in her playing and total command of the piano which is wonderful to hear and see.
@@Robersayan104 She mentioned that in an interview. When I was a kid in school, I used to practice 4 hours a day. Naturally, when you're among the best in the world and playing piano for a living, you're going to practice several hours a day. (Van Cliburn, practiced 8 - 10 hours a night & slept through the day)
wunderschön, Hamma, die Dame ist wirklich talentiert und spielt mein Lieblingsstück von Chopin. 5 Sterne sind dazu zu wenig, danke fürs Reinstellen. thanks
wow thank you for uploading ive been watching this several times since I was 16. 12 years ago. I can't believe im back. I wish I had commented back then lol
Brilliant, but compare this to Pollini's performance of the same piece. Pollini turns the piece into a story of high drama. BTW Lisitsa is my favourite recorded Pianist.
It’s the sound engineering, the soft dynamics are equalized, and loud also. You can still hear the qualities of dynamic level in the playing even if the amplitude itself is within a fixed range. The final chords and octaves for example have a distinct spread in tone and articulation that obviously sounds forte, but the recording device or engineering is normalized where that contrast is less observable.
Well technique is an objective measure while emotion is something entirely subjective. I for one connect with her rendition emotionally much more than with those of other artists.
Op 10 3 has dynamic changes. Op 10 4 is mostly Fz & Fs, with accents on the notes. She certainly played them. The small crescendos on Op 10 4 are very minor. IMO, she played flawlessly. But Music is art. Some people love artists such as Sandro Botticelli, others prefer Claude Monet. It's the same with music.
@@Bilytkid The score is actually marked "piano" in several spots and also incorporates several points with "fp". Before you say it, yes, I realize you said MOSTLY Fz and Fs. The crescendos are certainly not minor, although in terms of length they're mostly on the "minor" scale, but they are important, nonetheless and not at all "minor". All of those short "piano" to "mf" crescendos are there for a reason. I have no problem with her etude, however. This is an extremely difficult etude and she's kills it.
Something about it sounds so pedantic to me. I just love it lol but I also understand what you mean too according to the score. I still love this though lol
What a shame . . . Only 2,400 people have liked this. It should be more like 3.5 BILLION!
i agree, but the sad reality this will never get close to even a billion likes

Yes this is one of Czernys more exciting etudes-isn't it?
I feel like its onpar with Tifanny Poon's performance.
I cant tell wich I like the most.. they are both mesmerizing.
El exceso de velocidad le resta belleza a la obra.
So good and so well played, excellent

wow…she managed to play this piece completely without dynamics…

She should emphasis less on the Russian school, and pay more attention to the romantic dynamics of The Etude

Robot. Idk, seems a little dead. All technique no emotion.
Barely any dynamic changes. I didn't enjoy it 😕
