S7 Ep 3 Sambar Out of Lockdown

In 2020, Victoria and the city of Melbourne endured one of the toughest and longest covid lockdowns in the world. Understandably it was tough on everyone, but those who call the bush and the outdoors home suffered immensely under the house arrest conditions. This hunt is the first one out of lockdown for Rob, and it sums everything that is good about being out in the bush, stalking deer and the challenge that is Victoria’s mighty Sambar Stag.

Interesting what you were saying about body shape in older Sambar stags. Everything you said also applies to Red stags.
I'm an expat Kiwi but I live and hunt Red's up here in Central West of NSW. To quickly gauge a Red stag on the hoof I'm looking for a rectangle head shape, not a triangle like the younger stags have, a big block rectangle body shape, a low hanging stomach and that body blending into neck look.

The CH44 Network was forced to shut down in many areas and broadcasts costs were very high and hard to justify for a small independent production like BTD. We have all episodes coming to TH-cam soon as well as new content.
