Alternatives to tea,
Warm water with lemon and honey.
Canela, break up a cinnamon stick on a pot fill it up with 1litre of water, let it boil and enjoy with milk and sugar ( technically a tea but 🤷🏻‍♀️).
Rice water, to the canela pot mentioned before, ad a handful of rice, let that shit boil with a lot of water, don’t forget the cinnamon, and enjoy with sugar.
At an Asian supermarket look for 유자차 (Yuja tea) is a marmalade like mixture of honey and yuja oranges that you can dissolve on warm or cold water and it’s great for sick days!

two weeks ago, me and both my friends were sick! One of them started drinking hot chocolate and she was the first back at school, so we were like "it must be the hot chocolate!“ (as a joke) and it became our thing to say.
