Galeon should name these boats "Transformers" because they truly are. I really like how they use the space and come up with clever solutions. The designers should be applauded and other manufacturers should take notice of what they're doing.

I don't need to use the side decks to get to the bow ! Enjoy the expanded side decks at anchor then fold fold em up under way and walk through the middle to the bow ! Genius ! What a great idea ! I'll take two !
it means you can make the side decks very narrow to maximise cabin space

Cracking boat! Well put together review.
I feel this is close to the pinnacle of motorboats of this size, across time.
But still in 2019 people who buy these boats are happily sitting like hunchbacks to steer these machines. Small, low mounted steering far from a comfortable sitting position. It takes just one lever to get the proper position for the one responsible behind the wheel.
I'm not sure why this Galeon doesn't have seats at the lower helm which adjust fore/aft? The Galeon 64 that BoatTest tested had the same seats & they stated not only do the seat backs adjust but the seats themselves adjust up/down & fore/aft. Plus their Galeon had a tilting steering wheel unlike the boat in this video with a fixed steering wheel.

I quite like what Galeon has been doing, particularly that forward door to a deck that's otherwise distant. Doesn't have to be exactly like that but I think good design has to connect the lounge and the foredeck. And you can erase the side decks that way so it opens up possibilities. Great value for money too. Some Galeon designs spill into tacky territory though like the yeehaw master in this one but those can be avoided.
Too much moving stuff to malfunction! Curious to see how this boat holds up as the hours pile on
Exactly. Just like luxury cars, more electronics + features + moving parts = huge maintenance nightmare in the future.
Moreover, you've got salt water to further accelerate the problems.
Resale value hold well.
Don't buy a yacht just buy a camry like me..
Only 250 range too, very clever and fun I'm sure, but not a distance cruiser by any means...

Actually it starts @1.5 mil, for almost 3 mil you add all possible extra options. I configure one for ~2 mil and it's great already.

How much experience do i need to drive such a boat?
You'd want at least a couple of season's experience with the same crew before you take on something of this size, it's not for beginners!

I would like the Galeon Designer Team to include the rotating aft-lounge just like the Galeon 500 and 510.☺️.
It's optional, if you use instead of the crew cabin the garage option, the aft-lounge will be rotating.

You don't even have the range for such trips offshore, vessels like that have a range (depends on speed) of 250-350 miles.
There is a bering 65 on youtube reviewed by Nautistyles for 1.55 mil that is amazing. A true go anywhere in the world steel hull yacht. It has the best cockpit for a 65 I have ever seen Worth your time to look it up!

Too much glass on deck and on hull very dangerous when docking hope it has cat c18 engines or mtu
This is a great boat but for the money I would rather have a nordhavn 47 that I can motor to..... well... just about anywhere
