I had to pause to comment. I'm having some difficulty in my container garden. My sweet potatoes did not grow at all. All I had were roots. I'm not giving up. I'm going to try again. Worms ate my cabbage. I thought it was rabbits, but now I believe it was worms. I love your videos, they're so inspiring! Be encouraged always

Thank you Calvin! Yes, Ray is really a sweet bird! He looks over the flock and communicates well with us. I had to isolate him for a while because he was being pretty mean to Little Red one of the hens. And believe it or not I haven’t had much trouble out of him when he returns to the flock. He leaves her alone. We’ll see how long it last!🤣 Happy gardening my friend!

Love how well behaved your rooster is, he walks with you and enters the chicken coop on your command🐓👩🏾🌾👏🏾 I remember the chickens from my childhood always running away while being released from isolation😅
Hi friend! Yeah Ray is really sweet and extremely smart! He knows his name when it’s called. We started training him at 5days old and I’m so glad we did. Even though at that time we didn’t know he was a rooster. We were working with all the chicks that way. I didn’t want him being mean to us or our grand-babies! I would see people running from their rooster! It’s terrible! So good to see you! Happy gardening! 😊❤️
Your garden is beautiful. I always like flowers growing with vegetables Your grandbabies are adorable! It's wonderful to see little ones discover where food comes from. Have picked with my children and grandchildren since they were babies. Just put my berries up in the freezer. But left enough out for strawberry shortcake for everyone! Happy harvest!

@@abeautifulnest I don't drink so I felt it was a waste of money. Open one beer, could you even buy them that way? Yes you can and I put foil over the beer. It got stale or it didn't fizz up but the slugs came anyway. I used pickle lid jars and just set them out in different places. It really works! We were shocked at how many would be in the little lids. We actually haven't seen any slugs in that area this year. I love the peace your voice brings. You're good for my blood pressure! Drown the slugs with beer. We set up beer-drinking slug bars around my garden. Slugs don't like sand so I've been putting a light layer of fine construction sand around my strawberry plants and it worked really well.
Indeed! I like beer slug traps. I’ve tried them great suggestion. I have slug bate as well works well. I’m going to assume that the sand could cut their bodies? I have sand I’ll give that a try as well! Thanks a lot. 😄

Thank you so much! Rust is not harmful to plants but could eventually cause plant life to decline due to the minerals that the plants cannot absorb. This prohibits them from getting nutrients they need from healthy soil. So it’s best to replace them when rusted.

Yes during this time of the season slugs love zinnia seedlings. Try starting them indoors and transplanting them out. They will be stronger!
Soapy water really is a miracle! Spider mites and fungus gnats all go bye bye!

I would plant brassicas in the fall months in the spring they are decimated by pests. Hopefully by fall most of the pests have died.
