Love Cheerleader camp!!!!!! One of my absolute favorite slashers. Favorite scene in the movie is when Brad goes "I've had enough of this b*llsh*t." and leaves ...every single time I watch that scene my reaction is "damn, he's so impatient." My grandpa had a Prom night 2 DVD, and now I own it. Love Prom night 2. It's just the film with extras. Not part of a "collection" or anything. Funny antidote time. When I was 13 years old, I was alone in my grandparents house. My grandpa left me to pick whatever movies I wanted and this one time when they were away...I decided to look at one of the "adult section" VHS tapes. Just out of curiosity. So I watched a little bit of it and then I kind of panicked like "I better put this back before they come home." So I paused the tape, pushed for the tape to come out and guess f**king what?! IT SPOOLED. I was like "Oh my god!!!! WHAT THE F**K?! Unbelievable!" and I tried to fix it "Can't believe this. Can't believe this happened. WHY?!" but couldn't and I am going "They're gonna be back soon. Any second. What am I gonna do?!" Just couldn't get the damn film to get back in....so I was like "F**k it. Whens the last time he watched it anyway? He probably won't notice." So I just gave up and put the tape back where it was,lol. I thought about just throwing it away, but I decided that would be too obvious,lol. But ya, I love Cheerleader camp. So criminally underrated. The dialog and characters are awesome. "She can't function". "Where's Pam?!" "more important things, like where's Pam?" Great mood, great everything...and it has Buck Flowers. I mean, come on. Probably his best performance other then They live. Never seen any of the other Prom night sequels. Only seen part 1 and 2. Love them both. For my summer movies marathon I watched Piranha: The spawning 2 weeks ago. I had heard it's a terrible movie. Almost got James Cameron denied from making The terminator "Aren't you the guy who made Pirahna 2?" It was the film that almost killed James Cameron's career before he even started his career,lol. But I watched it out of curiosity...ya, it was awful. Love the first movie, but the sequel was genuinely terrible. Today I watched Puberty blues. An Australian film from 1981. Apparently it became a "coming of age" shown in school movie all over Australia. I found it pretty boring to be honest...also...was it really made in 1981? Looked to like it was from 1978 at the most. I guess the 80's started late in Australia compared to the U.S....also total f**king lie that it's a "summer movie". So false advertisement. I've also seen far better coming of age films. Like My girl and Kenny and company and those are the first two that come to mind at the moment. One of the best "summer movies" I've watched so far was Almost summer. Not really a summer movie, but I really liked it. Gave Sleepaway camp another rewatch. Great as always...my only real issue with the film is the ending. How she's just standing there with her mouth open. This time though, I noticed how a little bit more on good the directing is at times. Like the scene in the rec hall when Judy is watching Paul and Angela talking. Just perfect directing. Really good. Sleepaway camp is always a fun watch. Gonna watch The flamigo kid tomorrow. Never seen it. Have not seen The ghoulies or any New moon movies other then Castle freak, since the 90's. I barely even remember Ghoulies or Demonic toys, or Puppet master. I was always a Chucky, Gremlins, and Critters guy. Was not a fan of Trick or treat. I watched it last year, along with Hack o latern. I actually really liked Hack o latern. Trick or treat was a disappointment. I thought the songs weren't that good and the rocker's powers and everything I thought were too mundane. Just wasn't as interesting and cool as I had hoped.
Platinum disc is now echo bridge who is now owned by Disney which is Disney dvd / Buenavista home entertainment. They just kept getting bought and absorbed. I have the prom night platinum discs release & under wraps but I bought the echo bridge two pack with the willies and it is the same error transfer that platinum disc put out with them still being credited. Funny how physical media works. I’d buy the prom night blu-ray from 101films. Really does the film justice
I have a dvd of The Gate on Platinum Disc Corporation, as well as the Trick or Treat dvd you mentioned. In fact, after your video ended, I popped in the Trick or Treat disc and enjoyed a viewing of that 80s awesomeness! 🤘
Artisian used to be Live Entertainment. Live Entertainment released Prom Night 3, 4, The Punisher, Fright Night 2, and other horror and sci fi films on VHS back in the late 80s and early 90s. And you are probably right that many of these film won't see another physical release. Sucks! I'd much rather have my films on dvd and blu ray than streaming them. Anyway, great video! Cheers.
My copy of Suspiria is a limited edition anchor bay, I have ghoulies 4 in a double feature with howling 4. I have a triple feature dvd thats prom night 1,2,3. But the best limited DVD set i have is the red cross anchor bay sleepaway camp set and my maniac steelbox from anchor bay
I just got that Blair witch dvd a month ago at a used shop. That book with all the stuff you could order was pretty cool. I totally would have ordered a hat or something off that back then if I was old enough. I wonder how much of that stuff actually sold and what got tossed or lost in a warehouse somewhere.

Amityville Confidential (I think this in a box set with the first 3 Amityvilles. There's a couple History Channel docs on Amityville along with behind the scenes for the remake. Afaik, the docs weren't released on any blu-ray releases) 02. Apt Pupil (more of a thriller, but based on Stephen King short story; stuck on dvd at least in US) 03. Bad Taste (2 disc limited edition) (early Peter Jackson; I keep hearing about him working on 4k transfers but until then...) 04. Black Sheep (one word - weresheep; very much in the vein of early Peter Jackson; stuck on dvd in the US) 05. Population 436 (2006 direct to video release, but in my opinion a good one; small town where the population remains at 436) 06. Feast / Feast II: Sloppy Seconds / Feast III: The Happy Ending (Only the first has a blu-ray release in US, the other 2 are stuck on dvd; ranks right up there for being one of the most wtf trilogies) 07. Crow 3: Salvation (not horror but stuck on dvd; I honestly liked this much better than Crow 2) 08. Joe's Apartment (comedy but another stuck on dvd; MTV's first film based on the MTV short; Jerry O'Connell moves from Iowa to New York in an apartment overrun with singing and dancing cockroaches) 09. Runaway (another stuck on dvd; Tom Selleck and Gene Simmons)

I own the set of Blair Witch on DVD. I bought it at a SAM´s Club. It came with the original movie, the sequel (just like that version with the soundtrack in the other side), came with a Stickman necklace AND 3 full PC horror games. And all was for the price of a regular movie. I wasn´t into PC games so I gave those away to some friends and they told me they were great. And I also like Book of Shadows 2. PS On a different topic, have you ever went at night to a scary graveyard there in LA and play Ouija? Just for the sake of what could you experience?
I have a bunch of those Echo Bridge discs. I bought a lot of them from K-Mark years ago. The picture quality is basically VHS quality, but I’m okay with that, depending on the movie.
If you haven’t seen it, I would recommend checking out Killing Mr. Griffin. It is a tv movie from 1997 that is only on vhs and dvd. I wouldn’t necessarily call this a horror movie. It’s more of a drama/thriller. It is based on a book written by Lois Duncan. Lois Duncan also wrote the book I Know What You Did Last Summer.
One more that I thought of. The 1999 Anchor Bay release of 1977's The Car. In both Universal's 2008 release and Scream Factory's blu-ray release, there is missing audio. It may not sound like much, but it's towards the end when the car is revving its engine. It cuts to the family, one of the girls screams for her daddy. Cut back to the car revving. 2nd cut back to family on the AB release, the woman tells the girls to cover their ears. 3rd cut back to family on AB release, you can just hear the woman and girls screaming. For the Universal and SF releases, the 2nd and 3rd cut backs only have the car's revving sound.

Cool video Christian there's a lot of movies to track down I saw Prom Night 2 on Tubi TV it wasn't my favorite I prefer the original I haven't seen three or four are they worth watching I still own my original copy of the Blue Underground Susperia but I also have the Synapse Blu-ray and a DVD I might pick up the standard Blu-ray release I like the artwork for that one
I wanted to get prom night 2 at the exchange it was the mgm dvd and the company on the disc said alliance pictures so I want to know if that's the official disc
Hello planet CHH hope your well buddy . i got prom night 2 DVD released by Fox . i had blair witch 2 dvd/cd but it want missing . the DvD i got now has both the blair witch project and blair witch 2 on same disc no bonus features .
I still have my single release of Prom Night 2. And a double feature set of parts 3 and 4. These need blurays. Especially...part 2 and 4. Part 3 kinda sucks. Puppet master vs Demonic Toys is so bad it's unwatchable. Straight Hot 🔥 garbage 🗑. Cheerleader camp is a fun slasher...maybe Vinegar Syndrome will tackle it. I can't keep extras unless there's a reason to. If I upgrade to bluray I get rid of old dvds. Saves me space on the shelf for new stuff. Can't wait for Trick or Treat bluray from Synapse. There will be no need for that old dvd after that comes out.

That TCM DVD is really cool, especially the meat pack edition.
I also own that very same copy of Susperia. That is still the copy that I use too. I never even got the Blu-ray. The same goes for Argento’s Opera.
