And as Mosheh lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of A'dam be lifted up: That whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For Elohiym so loved the world, that he gave his yachiyd, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For Yah sent not his yachiyd into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believes on him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the yachiyd of Elohiym. YOCHANON 3:14-18.

From the deceased point of view what is it like being dead? Do the dead suffer as they see those they left behind in trials? Do the dead communicate with the living? The Word of God gives the answers.
    What is Death?
Let’s look at what life is, so we can better understand death.
“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” Genesis 2:7
God did not put a soul into Adam’s body - Adam became a living soul.
Body plus Breath of life = Living soul.
Body minus breath of life = Dead soul.
The Bible speaks of dead souls in Leviticus 21:11 and Numbers 6:6.
    Both literally read “dead soul.”
“Thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.” Psalm 104:29. Death is the opposite of life.
    Do souls die?
“The soul that sinneth, it shall die.” Ezekiel 18:4, 20
“Every living soul in the sea died.” Revelation 16:3
    Joshua destroyed souls. Joshua 10:28, 30, 32
God stopped Adam & Eve eating from the tree of life after they sinned. Why?
“Lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever.” Genesis 3:22-24.
    Where are the dead?
“David...is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day... For David is not ascended into the heavens.” Acts 2:29-34
“If I wait, the grave is mine house.” Job 17:13
“Yet shall he be brought to the grave, and shall remain in the tomb.” Job 21:32
The dead are in the grave. Jesus told His disciples “If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself...” John 14:3.
If all went to their rewards at death Jesus wouldn’t need to come back to resurrect anyone, and the coming judgment would be pointless.
What is it like to be dead?
“The living know that they shall die: but the dead know not anything...Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished...” Ecclesiastes 9:5-6
“His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.” Psalm 146:4
“Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave whither thou goest.” Ecclesiastes 9:10
“For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?” Psalm 6:5
The dead are unconscious, they don’t think, or love, or hate, or envy, or work, or hope, or praise God, or remember Him.
What does the Bible compare death to?
“He saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth;…Howbeit Jesus spake of his death…Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead.” John 11:11-13
    Death is likened to sleep many times. See Dan. 12:2; Mt. 9:24; 27:52; Mk. 5:39; Lk. 8:49-52; Acts 7:59-60; 1Cor. 15:6, 18, 20, 51; 1Thess. 4:13-15.
    Will the dead live again?
“The hour is coming in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth; they that have done good unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.” John 5:28-29.
When will God’s people receive immortality?
“I will raise him up at the last day.” John 6:39-40
“We shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible…and this mortal must put on immortality.”
1Corinthians 15:52-53 See also Job 14:13-15 The time the dead spend in death passes for them in an instant.
    Who alone is naturally immortal?
“The King of kings...who only hath immortality.” 1Timothy 6:15
“Shall mortal man be more just than God?” Job 4:17.
    Mortal means subject to death.
We must seek for immortality because we do not naturally have it.
“...by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life.”
    Romans 2:7
The Bible uses the words soul and spirit over 1600 times but never speaks of an “immortal soul.”
Who first taught that man has an immortal soul?
God told Adam and Eve that if they sinned they would “surely die” but Satan first taught that man is naturally immortal when he told Eve, “Ye shall not surely die.” (Genesis 3:4).
How are we to comfort believers who have lost a loved one?
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”
    1Thessalonians 4:16-17

  • @TheBibleSays
    @TheBibleSays 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

What happens when you give up your last breath and die? You go to the grave. There you stay until you're resurrected.
You're "thoughts perish"; you have no consciousness and know nothing:
⚫ "His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish." (Psalm 146:4)
⚫ "For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten." (Ecclesiastes 9:5)
You remain in the grave until you are resurrected. There are two times of resurrection. The first is when Jesus returns. The apostle Paul described the first resurrection in 1 Thess 4:13-17 and in 1 Cor 15:50-54. This first resurrection is for "the dead in Christ," who "sleep (in the grave) in Jesus." Paul wrote:
⚫ "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." (1 Thessalonians 4:13-17)
Those in the first resurrection have eternal life. They will reign right here on earth with Jesus for 1000 years:
⚫ "Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years." (Rev 20:6; also see Luke 22:28-30; Matthew 8:11,12; Rev 5:9,10; Isaiah 2:4; Daniel 2:44; Daniel 7:27, eg.)
The other, second resurrection - of everyone else left in the grave - comes much later, after the end of Jesus' thousand year rule here on earth:
⚫ "But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. . . " (Rev 20:5).
Jesus gave this description of the second resurrection:
⚫ "Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation." (Jesus, in John 5:28,29; also see Daniel 12:2)
Perhaps you have been taught that people like Abraham, David and Moses have gone to heaven. Not true. Jesus said none of them have gone to heaven:
⚫ "And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven." (Jesus, in John 3:13)
They are still in the grave, awaiting their resurrection. The apostle Peter confirmed this when he spoke about David:
⚫ "Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day." (Acts 2:29)
⚫ "For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
Until I make thy foes thy footstool." (Acts 2:34,35)
Abraham, David, Moses and the others are still in the grave, awaiting their resurrection.

Good to read that. I also think this is what the bible says. The doctrine of the immortal soul which will go direct to heaven or earth is so common but unbiblical.
Where did the hope of the resurrection go? How can believers go direct to heaven without resurrection when Jesus needed to resurrect? How can so many christian churches override that Jesus said that we shall resurrect AT THE LAST DAY,
and that some will resurrect to life and other resurrect to judgment?

The "immortal soul" concept comes to us via pagan philosophers such as Plato. Over the centuries it has crept into mainstream Christian doctrine and become accepted as truth. Here's a quote from Plato; see if this sounds like what most professing Christians today believe:
_"Do we believe that there is such a thing as death? And is this anything but the separation of soul and body? And being dead is the attainment of this separation; when the soul exists in herself, and is parted from the body and the body is parted from the soul . . . is not the conclusion of the whole matter this? - that the soul is in the very likeness of the divine, and immortal, and intelligible, and uniform, and indissoluble, and unchangeable; and the body is in the very likeness of the human, and mortal, and unintelligible, and multiform, and dissoluble, and changeable . . . beyond question the soul is immortal and imperishable, and our souls will truly exist in another world!"_ (Plato, in _Phaedo,_ about 360 BC)

Paul says he is in a betwix
      1. to be here to help others
      2. to be WITH the Lord.
Revelation 6 talks about the souls under the alter... already in heaven, because its CRYSTAL clear, Jesus has not come back yet.
Revelation 7 talk about the great multitude
John 3 talks about everlasting life. .... does that mean i have to wait for everlasting life? No because that would make Jesus a liar. "shall not perish, but have everlasting life"
Philippians 3-20 talks about your citizenship in heaven

    Allan,
Please consider that if the King James Version of the Bible is the only version we should use, then Christians around the world are in trouble. Does the entire Christian World need to learn 16 Century English to be saved? If you are serious about the correct version you will need to learn to read Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic. You will then need to find the original text (which do not exist) and read them in the language they were written. I prefer the NKJV over the old. I will use many versions. I read a minimum of eight versions in English when I study, but always read the Hebrew and Greek too. Remember the first 15 centuries of Christians never read a King James Version.

      @definitelycortez3408 7 ปีที่แล้ว +11

Gary McCarron Yes, we AREsaved by grace, because NOTHING we can do would ever be enough without it. However, Faith WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD. We are REQUIRED to repent of our sins, to be baptised, to keep the commandments and do our best to follow Jesus Christ, to (in the words of Christ) Love one another as ourselves, to Love God with all of our might mind and strength and to ENDURE in doing good till the end. Our faith MUST bring forth good works. Those good works alone would/will NEVER be enough to gain God's forgiveness. That is where Grace comes in. It is so frustrating to hear people say that belief alone is sufficient. Christ speaks of bringing forth good fruit, of not turning back once we put our hand to the plow, of showing forth the fruits of faith, hope and love. True Christianity is not stationary and simply having faith, but is in doing as well. The words of Christ Jesus are our blueprint for life. If we fail to implement them to the best of our ability while feasting on His words and working to repent of our sins, praying always and showing love to one another (Christ like love, not just our worldly interpretation of it) and FORGIVING others as well, then ours is a dead faith. He said he would spew those kind of people from His mouth as it were. People WANT to believe that all they have to do is believe, be baptised and that is enough. In Christ's own words, IT IS NOT.

Always talk to God the Father, our Dad and finish your prayer in the name of Jesus. Read your Bible daily and you will be blessed.Rom 10:8-10
8 But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart"* (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. You are very special to Jesus!!Pastor Gary

Man does not have a soul, man is a soul.

  • @fromanabe8639
    @fromanabe8639 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

When you die, that's it. You're awaiting the resurrection. Humans do not possess a immortal "soul". They ARE a "living soul".
The confusion comes from a misreading of Gen 2:7 :(KJV) "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man >became a living soulliving thing< in the sea died". So when the Bible speaks of a "soul" it merely means a living creature, >any< living creature, including animals and insects.
Humans are purely corporeal creatures that exist entirely within a human body. There is no ethereal, immaterial ghost-like soul that goes anywhere. If humans can leave their body and exist elsewhere as a spirit, then what is the point of the resurrection?
If human souls or "spirits" go to heaven (the redeemed) upon death, that implies a judgement occurs at the moment of death. However the bible speaks of only one judgement which occurs after Jesus' return to earth and everyone who ever lived is resurrected to face Jesus' judgement seat.
For you to experience anything that happens to your "soul" at death, such as to be redeemed or sent to "hell" (that's another topic), it has to be YOU in every possible way. It has to embody your conscious mind. In other words, you are your soul and your soul is you.
Does your soul stand aloof while you're sinning, somehow untainted? Obviously not. Your "soul", if it exists, is just as sinful as you are in every way. And that's true of every human being. Ro 3:23: "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
Secondly: There is no sin in heaven. When sin was found in God's premier angel, Satan, he was cast down to the earth. Are Christians sinless? Definitely not. They have placed their trust in Jesus' payment for their sins, but they still sin daily in thought word and deed. Paul explains this in Rom 7:19: "For the good that I would, I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do." Trusting in Jesus' payment for sin removes the consequences of sin at the judgement.
Humans are not made sinless until after the resurrection and judgement when everything is made "new " again. So a human soul (if such a thing exists) is still sinful until after the resurrection and would never be allowed in heaven. Humans were never intended for heaven. God made the earth for humans. Following the resurrection and judgement the redeemed will live on the "new earth" forever (they will never die) with Jesus as their king.

      John 3:16
16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Belief in Christ Guarantees Eternal Life. You have repented and accepted him you have the gift of Grace through your faith.
      John 11:25-26
25 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; 26 and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.
Jesus again states you will never die if you believe in him. You have life with him.
      John 14:6
6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Jesus again assures that he is the only way.
      Rom 10:8-10
9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
This verse says that in your heart, where the Holy Spirit resides is in you, when you believe you are saved. And only The Holy Spirit allows you to speak this truth that Jesus was raised on the third day you are saved. Be assured you are going to Heaven, not because I am telling you this but because God your Father in Heaven is telling you.
      Rom 8:37-39
37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Please know that you cannot lose you salvation because you are in the hands of Jesus and have his protection.

@Impolic Geode If you are in repentance, abiding in Him and following the lead of the holy spirit, you are in _justification:_ you are reconciled to God. Your past sins - that separated you from God - have been blotted out and you have been redeemed, by grace, from the death penalty you had earned for past sins. With past sins erased, and no longer under condemnation, you can begin a new life - a "time of refreshing," "in the presence of the Lord" via the holy spirit:
"Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord" (Acts 3:19, NKJV).
IF you remain in justification, you shall be saved, saved from ever perishing in death - when you receive the gift of eternal life at Jesus' return (re: 1 Cor 15:42-54 and 1 Thess 4:13-17).
The apostles Paul and Peter taught we in this mortal life have "the hope of salvation" and are "appointed . . . to obtain salvation" and "shall be saved" - in the future:
"But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ" (Paul, in 1 Thessalonians 5:8,9. Did Paul tell them they _had been_ saved?).
"But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they." (Acts 15: 11; Peter, speaking to apostles and elders about future salvation for both themselves and Gentiles.Did Peter tell them they _had been_ saved?)
Note how Paul separated justification from salvation: they are two different things at different times. It is a mistake to confuse justification (now) with being saved (in the future) through an ongoing relationship with Him, continuing in repentance:
"Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him." (Paul, in Romans 5:9)
⚫ So, will you go to heaven for an eternal vacation? Actually, there is something much more loving and meaningful in store for those who receive eternal life at Jesus' return.
Jesus will be right here on earth for the next 1000 years:
"And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more." (Isaiah 2:4)
Those in the first resurrection, at Jesus' return, reign right here on earth with Jesus for those 1000 years:
"Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years." (Revelation 20:6).
Jesus told His disciples they would be reigning with Him:
"Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations.
      And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;
That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel." (Luke 22:28-30)
This kingdom here on earth is what Jesus was talking about in the Lord's prayer: "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." (Matthew 6:10)
⚫ We have fee will, and can revert back to a life of sin and separation from God, no longer abiding in Him, no longer following the lead of the holy spirit. Are we still justified to God? No. We will have "fallen away" and "failed of the grace of God." There are many warnings about this, which those who presume they're already "saved" - done deal - choose to ignore. No, as Peter wrote, we must "give diligence to make our calling and election sure":
"Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ." (2 Peter 1:10,11)

Pastor, what about what I have been hearing lately through this teaching: That as in John 3:16 it says "those who believe will not perish, but have eternal life" --- the perish part means at the great white throne judgment God will destroy the people who refused the free gift of salvation and to serve God.... In other words, those people who reject Christ do not suffer for eternity, they will eventually perish/be destroyed/exist no longer. Have you ran into this lately?

      John 3:16
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
      NKJV
      John 14:6
6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
NKJVJesus is very clear no one comes to God the Father unless it is by Jesus. He is the life, No other way is acceptable. Mathew there are many who use the Bible to prove a point they want to make. Christians’ should approach the scripture to learn from them. Peter, John, James, Jude, and Titus and other New Testament letters warn us about false teaching or doctrine. It is antichrist working when false teaching is present. Yes I am constantly finding false doctrine. The soul is eternal; it does not cease to exist. The eternal life is with Jesus and God the Father in the light and Glory. When the body dies the Soul leaves or separates from the body thus Death. Eternal death is described by the Bible as separation from God for eternity.
There are two Judgments: 1. The Judgment seat of Jesus Christ for believers and the Great White Judgment Throne for the lost. The Great White Judgment is where Satan himself is judged along with his fallen angels and all of the humans who rejected The God of Old and New Testament. (Jesus)Rev 20:13-15
14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
      NKJV
      John 3:16
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
      NKJV
      Rev 20:13-15
14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
      NKJV
Matthew the Bible teaches that they will have everlasting separation form Jesus and God the Father, everlasting destruction is the lake of fire and darkness and eternal separation.
      2 Thess 1:7-10
The Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, 8 in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,

Gary McCarron excellent, thanks for the response.
I have just been hearing that lately, and a lot of people especially Jehovah's Witness buy into it because it is hard to believe if God is love that He would punish someone for all eternity.
I have heard the reason this is true is because we have sinned against a perfect and eternal God, so the only justice is eternal damnation.
Honestly, though, I am still on the bubble. I understand revelation saying those whose name is not found in the book of life is thrown into the lake of fire - but that can be referring to the hundreds of thousands of devils that fell with Lucifer.
Also, if you could tell me if our souls are immortal, then why does the bible tell us take our mortal selves and put on immortality? "For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality." 1 cor. 15:53 - this seems to clearly be stating that we are mortal and will die as in die a death where we don't come back from.

      Matthew,
I talk with Jehovah’s Witness and Mormons when they come to my door. I respect them because they are willing to work for their belief, but they are cults. Cults are a form of Christianity with false teaching which is of Antichrist. Both of these Cults reject the Trinity and reduce Jesus thus denying his deity. The Mormons believe Jesus and Satan are brothers. Jesus created Satan, Jesus is God incarnate and Satan is a created angel. Jehovah’s witnesses reject that Jesus was born in the flesh.
The Trinity explained describes Jesus is God; He is not God the Father: The Father is God: He is not the Holy Spirit, The Holy Spirit is God; He is not Jesus.
All Three are God; they are separate they are in total agreement but separate entitles. Rejection of the Trinity is a rejection of the Truth.
      1 John 5:6-8
6 This is He who came by water and blood - Jesus Christ; not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth. 7 For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word (JESUS), and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. 8 And there are three that bear witness on earth:* the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one.
NKJVJesus is God and was willing to placed all of his Glory into a Human body like the one we have. God incarnate. Thus Jesus is 100% God and 100% flesh. He is a God Man. The Witnesses believe he was not born in the flesh and they reject Christmas, the birth of Jesus.
      1 John 4:1-3
4 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess that* Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.
NKJVIf you are not very well versed in your Bible be carful of the spirit of antichrist (Mormons and Jehovah’s Witness) they can be very convincing because they believe what they are teaching.Pray for Truth
      Blessings

      Matthew,
Forgive me, I do not know how much knowledge you or anyone else has. I do know believers who have attended Church for 50 years and are still learning the basics. I try give as much information as I can.I hope these verses will explain in more detail the blessings we have in physical death and the changes promised in the glorification of our body.
      2 Cor 5:6-8
6 So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. 7 For we walk by faith, not by sight. 8 We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.
      NKJV
Paul is expounding what actually happens when we die. Death is the separation of the Soul and spirit from the physical body. When the soul is detached; Christ says Angels meet us and take us (our Soul) to him. Luke 16:22.
      Luke 16:22
So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham's bosom.
NKJV Abraham’s bosom is the paradise side of Hades. It is empty because Jesus moved all of the Old Testament souls to the third Heaven. His Blood removed their sins as they do ours. Animal blood only covered the sin. With the removal of their sin they were allowed to move from paradise.
Jesus is currently setting at the right hand of The Father in the third Heaven. The Body stays here on earth until Jesus comes for his church. The body is dust and returns to dust. 1 Thess 4:13-18
13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
NKJVThese verses explain the glorification of the Body. It is resurrected and we are complete again, the similar body Jesus rose with on the third day. He is the first fruit we are the ones who follow. This is the reason the resurrection is so important Jesus is showing our future. Note: Jesus is in his glorified human body and his full Glory as God the son.
      1 Cor 15:42-45
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption. 43 It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power. 44 It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 45 And so it is written, "The first man Adam became a living being."* The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
NKJVWe have to have a Glorified, Spiritual, Powerful and Incorruptible to be able to ascend to the Third Heaven with Jesus. That is where he takes us to his judgment seat. The Judgment Seat is where we receive the rewards for our work in Christ Jesus the Bible mentions 5 crowns. Please note: There is not Judgment for sin because it has been removed by the Blood Jesus Christ. If your sister died in Christ Jesus; her soul is with Jesus. We are truly blessed in Christ.Blessings,
      Pastor Gary

Understanding we are sinners brings us to ask God to forgive us: to Repent and turn away from our old sin nature, which is a 180 degree turn from the flesh. We agree on this point.
The question is, how can we lose your salvation, which is a gift from God? Also, who or what is powerful enough to separate us from the love of our Savior Jesus.
Having the capacity to lose our salvation means that John 3:16 should be revised to say if we believe in Jesus, the term Everlasting or Eternal life is conditional based on our ability to persevere: we would also need to change Romans 8:1 to read there is condemnation for those who are in Christ unless you persevere.
Please consider Perseverance is a form of works. We are justified (legally pardoned) in Christ. Salvation is a Gift from God; we are saved by Grace through Faith plus nothing we can do. We can not earn our salvation by works and we cannot work our way out of salvation.
Armenians, Hyper Calvinists and Arminian Lapsarianism believe you can lose your salvation. I am not sure what you have been taught, scripture does not support these doctrines. Please consider Gods Word below. (copied and pasted from the Bible)
    John 3:16
16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
    Romans 3:21-25
22 This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
    Rom 10:9-11
9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. 11 As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame."
    Rom 8:1-2
8 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, 2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.
    Rom 8:38-39
38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
    Blessings in Christ

I believe it will be all about accessibility to other realms of existence, in other dimensions, to commune with our God, Jesus Christ, to enjoy the abundance of life like never experienced before in glorified bodies, we will see our loves one's and people that we have won to Christ, we will observe and take part in the enginuty of the angels. I also believe that there are hyper, technological advancements in the heavenly dimensions as well, that will enable us to chart, set destinations, and traverse throughout the cosmos with incredible speed. In Thessalonians it talks about rising from the dead to join God, but I believe that verse is symbolic (it'll take too long to explain). "clouds" and "air" from my understanding are very symbolic words in the bible. Did you know that "hell" and "lake of fire" are not translated right from the original scriptures? Sheol is the right word. When we die, from what I understand, we'll remain in Sheol, which means in the grave, or in the pit, until the Lord comes from the sky for judging to our resurrected bodies. (2) Corinthians 5:8 is very symbolic too. Many don't understand that the bible is full of parables, symbolism. They just come up with an assumption without thinking about the verse. Like Peter said, God's Word is difficult to understand (some). The wicked ones will remain as "dust", right? God didn't threaten Eve with eternal damnation in hell, but "dust". She turned to dust. I believe the kingdom of heaven will come to earth. Paradise on earth. I've read a lot of verses about entering God's Kingdom, but that doesn't have to mean, literally, entering Heaven in the sky. One more thing. I don't know why people think they have a spirit that leaves the body after death and goes to Heaven. If true, what's your spirit going to do right before Judgement Day? Float back to Earth? Stay in Heaven already judged? No. The bible repeatedly talks about resurrection, that our bodies will become resurrected from the "DUST". I agree with you on a lot of things, but some, no. So is my understanding correct? Discussion time.

Show us preacher, the verse or verses in the word of God that say to the alien sinner "just ask God to forgive you and ask him to give you his Holy Spirit to live inside you and if you do that you will have eternal life!" I need to see the verses from the bible that say just exactly what you just said.. Everybody else should want to see them as well.. Now, if these words cannot be produced from the bible what does that mean.. Simple, it means that they are not the words of God..

I have a question, can you be baptized at any age? I'm 14 and wish to be, but they say it will be difficult somehow. Also about the asking for forgiveness and repenting. None of us are prefect like Jesus was so it's impossible for us not to sin, but I feel like asking for forgiveness every time you sin seems a little weird. Because there could be people who sin and really want forgiveness but then there are people who think you can just ask for forgiveness and yours sins are gone. What I'm trying to say is that we all sin but can we really just keep asking for forgiveness when we sin or is there a certain point where you can't.

Being baptized does not bring you salvation. Being Baptized is obedience but not necessary for salvation. You should be Baptized when you can.
Asking for forgiveness (repenting) Grace through Faith: by Believing in your heart that Jesus is Lord, that he died for you, and rose on the Third Day brings you salvation.
      Rom 10:8-10
9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Forgiveness or the Grace of God is as big as God. God will forgive you for all of your sins when you ask, both known and unknown sins. You only need to ask once because God says he removes your sin as far as the east is from the west and he does not remember them.
      Matt 18:21-22
21 Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, "Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?"
22 Jesus answered, "I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.
Seventy-seven times means infinity. Do not worry about your sin focus on being as much like Jesus as you can. When you do best to obey God and he will bless you. When you make a mistake ask for forgiveness. With Christ in your heart you have salvation and can not lose it.
      John 3:16
16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
God’s Promise from the words of Jesus himself, He gives you eternal life. When God gives you something there is nothing in the universe who can take it away.

      The tribulation period is as
you mention seven years of horror. The Bride,
Believers in Jesus Christ will not have to suffer with the rest of the world. We will be caught out of the World. These verses explain how it will happen.
      1 Thess 4:15-18
16 For the Lord himself will come down from
heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the
trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18 Therefore
encourage each other with these words. 1 Thess 1:9-10
They tell how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God, 10 and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom
he raised from the dead - Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.
1 Thess 5:8-119 For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. 10 He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him.
The Previous verses state that Gods Bride, the Church will not receive the Wrath of God who pours it out at the start of the
Tribulation period. The Wrath doubles during the second 3 1/2 years. Paul makes is very clear we will be with Jesus during
this time and standing in front of him receiving our rewards for work done in the body.
Your Experience with the Holy Spirit is the indwelling. When you declared Jesus as your lord and asked for forgiveness you actually received Christ into your heart.
Salvation is not to laugh about it is to rejoice, you have eternal life. Remember Christ is in you. Read John below.
      1 John 4:4
4 You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
You are a child of God your testimony is great Blessings
      to You.

No matter what comes your way, stand by the word of God. Even though the world is shaking around us, earthquakes, sinkholes, animals dying in mass amounts, flooding all over the world, wickedness increasing, fires out of control, signs in the moon, sun, and the stars, etc, hold on to the word of God and stay filled with the Holy Spirit. For with Christ we are standing on solid ground.
Don't give in to the devil. He wants your soul. You would think with all that is going on in the world today, preachers would preach against sin, and preach on God's plan of salvation, and warn the world of the coming of the Lord. They preach more on the blessing plan than on God's salvation plan. They get the blessing and you get stuck with the plan. Every true preacher should be preaching against sin and warning the people of the coming of the Lord. God's plan of salvation, Acts 2;38. Jesus Christ cares for you!

Wrong. Matt 10:28. The parable of Lazarus and the rich man was Jesus speaking to what the Greeks understood to make a point. It was not meant to be taken literally. God said that the wages of sin is death. He doesn't state any other punishment. I believe that there isn't any scripture in the Holy Bible that says anyone is going to heaven or a fiery hell after they die. The truth is that we are not destined for Heaven or Hell. It's not about going anywhere. It is about eternal life. Genesis says God made man out of the earth for the earth. The meek shall inherit the earth. This earth and the earth to come. Adam sinned and this sin caused death. Death is the only punishment God gave for sin. Going to heaven after dying would not be a punishment, it would be a reward. God knew Abel was dead because Abel's blood cried out from the ground. Abel's offering was accepted by God so if anyone should have gone to heaven it should have been him. At death, you sleep in the earth until the resurrection. You know nothing of the passing of time. Jesus paid the price of sin by dying on the cross and that is the only thing that will allow us to live again, and at his coming, only then will we re-awaken and be given a glorified body. Why would anyone living in the joy of heaven return to earth to be resurrected back into a body? The good news is John 3:16, gaining back everlasting life. Going to heaven is essentially the same lie that the serpent told Eve. Eat and ye shall be gods. Going to heaven would be putting yourself equal to God which is the reason Satan fell. His main goal is to trick you into believing that so you will be like him. When we die we lose the spirit (breath of God that gives life or life force). The breath of God returns to God. The body and soul (all thought that makes you - you) returns to the ground. God will create a new body and breathe life into it so your soul can live. You don't have to go to a place to be with God. He is as close to you as you will allow.
Believe that Jesus is and the work that he did and do his will and accept Jesus's gift of paying the price and you will have everlasting life in a glorified body. Deny and you will perish (second death to be consumed in the fire) when the earth is purged of sin by the renovation with fire.

God made man to take care of the earth. He gave no instructions that he would take man anywhere else. He told Adam if you eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil that he and everyone else would die. That's the whole narrative of the bible. Eat (sin) and you will die. Adam died that creative day. Day to God is 1000 years so Adam died before that and so has everyone else. When you are dead there is no more thoughts or anything. But, Jesus died and rose again so that we could be resurrected from the dead. John 3:16 are two choices, perish or everlasting life. Perish means completely gone, not everlasting torture in hell being still alive. The bible is a simple message of love but man in his sinful nature of greed and control still clings to pagan ideals.

I have debated this subject very much with those who believe this same way. Let me ask this ; If once we have said one prayer for salvation which means God will remember our sins NO MORE , ( which to me means past sins), then why would we be judged accordingly for "rewards" in heaven ? If God sees us all as guiltless once we have accepted Christ, where or what is the dividing line between one or the other ?
Now, the story of the rich man and Lazarus is a PARABLE ! Not an event that took place at some point in time. It deals with the Pharisees ( dressed in purple and fine linen) and the Gentiles to whom the Gospel would be sent to. All symbolic of how the covenant with Abraham would spread to all nations while the nation of Israel would be destroyed later because of their disbelief in Christ. The key verse in this parable is the last which states that if one would be risen from the dead, ( meaning Himself) they would still not believe. And they did not believe in Christ even after His resurrection. So the parable is toward the Pharisees. NOT about being in heaven or hell as tradition teaches. This parable is totally misunderstood.

We are not judged for sin at the judgment Seat we are judged for our works for Jesus while in the body after our salvation. There are five crowns listed for works while in the body after salvation. You are saved only once and true your sins are forgiven, both future and past.
You do not become perfect at salvation; you still have the body’s sin nature. The difference is the Holy Spirit gives you a choice, which you did not have before salvation.
The rich man and Lazarus is not a parable. Jesus states that there was a man named Lazarus. To say that this is a parable is calling Jesus a liar when he said there was a man by the name of Lazarus and a rich man ends the discussion. Do you know how silly that sounds?
Jesus commanded his disciples to baptize in the NAME (NOUN) of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. So what's that name? It isn't Father, Son and Holy Ghost?
The following scripture tells it all. And don't tell me it's in to Old Testament and doesn't mean much, because you know better. It's in the NEW Testament:
Colossians 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
Are we to ignore this verse? Then, by all means, remove it from your bibles, because you don't believe it.
Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Jesus didn't tell his disciples to baptize VERBATIM! Not at all. But that's what you want people to believe! This is wrong! Jesus said to baptize in the NAME of. Father, Son and Holy Ghost, are PRONOUNS! You are correct. They are not PRONOUN NAMES, but PRONOUNS! PERIOD!
Names are NOUNS, such as Bob, Jim, Henry, Mary, Jennifer, etc.
Jesus said to baptize in the NOUN of the Pronoun, and of the Pronoun, and of the Pronoun!
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Did Jesus, even ONCE, reprimand Peter, or any of the other disciples who baptized in the name of Jesus? No!! WHY? Because they did EXACTLY what Jesus commanded! They baptized in the NAME (NOUN) of the Pronoun, and of the Pronoun, and of the Pronoun! Peter, in Acts 2:38, obeyed Jesus to the letter, and commanded them to be baptized in the NAME of Jesus!! For what purpose? For the remission of sins. You can't get your sins remitted if you get baptized without the name of Jesus. Jesus shed his blood and died on the cross so that we wouldn't have to. And you want to lower that awesome thing He did for us by baptizing people in his TITLES? You are SILLY!!
Let's remove Isaiah 9:6, 1 Timothy 3:16, and John 1:14 from your bibles also, because you don't believe them.
I have many more scriptures to prove that your baptismal formula is incorrect. Blessings

our hope is not in some ghost within us going to some holding cell until judgement day. what would be the point of a resurrection and judgment? I think you would know your judgment if you had been tortured for 1,000 years. Our hope is in the resurrection at the last day.
Acts 23:6 (KJV) ...of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question.
Acts 24:15 (KJV) And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.
Job tells EXACTLY what happens when we die.
Job 14:12-14 (KJV) So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep.
O that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me!
If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.
He tells us that man lies down and will not rise until the heaven and the earth be no more. that's the description of Christ's return. the elements will melt with fervent heat and the earth will pass away with a great noise. he says he will not be raised out if his SLEEP until then. He says that he will remain hidden secretly in his grave until Christ's wrath is passed (second coming) and until his change come.
when will his change come? At the second coming when the dead in Christ are raised (from sleep/grave) and THEN will put on immortality (because they didn't have it) and THEN will death be swallowed up in victory. not until then.
1 Corinthians 15:51-55 (KJV) Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
Thank you LORD for your clear Word! Amen!

This verse is Paul talking about what happens when we die. As soon as we (our Soul and spirit) separate from the body and is absent from the body we are present with our Lord. It is instant we will go to Christ if we have him in our heart or to Satan in Hell if we have not accepted Christ.
      2 Cor 5:6-8
6 So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. 7 For we walk by faith, not by sight. 8 We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.
      NKJV

You teach the doctrine of devils! The dead KNOW NOTHING !!! "The dead do not praise the LORD, Nor any who go down into silence." (Psalm 115:17) "For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten." (Ecclesiastes 9:5) "Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun." (Ecclesiastes 9:6) - "So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep." (Job 14:12) - Punctuation is not inspired, but added by man. The comma, with Jesus on the cross should be after the comma. We know this because, Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’” (John 20:17) This was after He died, and rose again. So. If He went straight to Heaven when He died, why did He claim He had not yet ascended to the Father ?? The Bible is clear! "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, so that whosoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16) - SO.. if a man believes in Jesus, He has eternal life. If a man does not believe in Jesus, he DOES NOT have eternal life. The Bible doesn't preach eternal life to live in Heaven or Hell. That is a doctrine of Satan !!! Satan is the one who said, "You shall not die" !!! Stop teaching the doctrines of the Devil, lest Jesus find you guilty of damnation !!!! The dead go into an unconscious sleep when they die. The soul (breath of God) returns to God who gave it, and the body returns to the dust from where it came. "And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be." (Revelation 22:12) - WHY would Jesus say this, if people are already burning in Hell ?? The Lazarus story is a parable, and was not to be taken literally. STOP preaching this Anti-christ teaching and the doctrine of devils !!! You are leading God's faithful away !!!! You are making God to look like a sadistic fiend, who burns sinners forever and ever. They will be eternally punished. This means they will be no more. But. They are not burning forever. The fire that burns is eternal though? .. YES. That is because that fire is GOD. God is the eternal fire (burning bush, pillar of fire, and others) - SO YES_ The fire burns forever, but that doesn't mean the souls will burn forever. They will die, when their punishment is over. And their punishment (which is death) will be eternal, for this is the 2nd death, and neither shall they be anymore.

Dude , we are the Soul , soul is actually you , we are just inside a body , an its like a CAR , WHAT HAPPENS ? WHEN we get out of the car ? Well, it stops moving , ..... And same goes with us , once we die we , get out of our bodys an our bodys stop working , which means that we are the soul , its us , without our bodys we are called Souls up in heaven ,
Its that i hate it when poeple say , oh that our soul , goes here an there an we can communicate with it , when in reality , we are SOULS inside a body , as a matter in fact , it should be the other way around , us as SOUL BIENGS should know how to communicat through our bodys ,
Just something i wanted to share with everyone ,
Just seeing that poeple think that the soul is seperated from us , when thats non sense , because we all are SOULS living inside a body. Simple , an its the truth ,

Tony Soprano okay, so your soul was created by the source, or God, and when your parents had sex they created a physical and spirit body for you. The soul attaches itself to the spirit body and physical body through a chord. The chord is what supplies energy from the soul to the two bodies. When you die, you become your spirit body. I should say in fact, you just remove your physical body. The soul attaches itself to your bodies, and that is who you really are. If you'd like to know more please ask

I want to know why the word hell is in the bible. It's not Greek. And why hell was substituted in for the actual place called gehena. And why in the KJV the Jewish word sheol was changed to hell. And why Hades was changed to hell. And why anyone thinks God isn't in full control of his creation coming to be righteous children of God from nothing but dust. There isn't any one of us without sin, no not one. And even if you have accepted Jesus as the way the truth and the life you are yet to be in his glory and do not know the path God brings all his children to righteousness. eternal torment in hell is pagan concept. Through one man sin entered the world and the wage of sin is death and one man who was the logos of God was broken on that cross for all. He is both justified and merciful.

      Vanessa,
If your boy friend believed in his heart that Jesus Christ was his Lord and savior and told others about him and if he believed Christ rose on the third day he has salvation.
Don’t let anyone tell that suicide will keep you out of heaven because this is not true. The Bible does not teach this man made belief. We are saved by Grace through faith plus nothing. We will be able to recognize one another. The Bible states this fact in Luke 16:19 when the soul of the rich man sees and talks with Abraham and Lazarus. Be sure you are going to Heaven, if you haven’t asked for Christ to forgive your sins, ask Him. Then Tell Jesus that you declare him to be your Lord, and ask Jesus to send the Holy Spirit into your heart. You are then born again spiritually. Read John 3:16.Blessings to you

    • @ihababdulfatah8295

The guy does not know. The body with its spirit (the combination is called the soul) go to hell or go to heaven, not just the spirit that will go to these places. The spirit in nothing more than a form of energy that power biological systems. After death, people do not go immediately to heaven or hell , they remain dead inside the earth in form of dust (their original form before birth) till the day of judgment. On day of judgment, God will reconstruct the body back, bring it back to life by putting the spirit back in it and then judge the person, and based on that judgment, either put him in hell or in paradise.

So sad no one has answered you. Who knows if you are still alive. But I will still answer you in the hopes someday you might read my reply. Jesus Christ came for that reason to bring Eternal Life to a dying world. When you believe with all your heart Jesus Christ is your personal Savior Romans 10:10+ you will pass from death to Life. He will abide in you. You no longer have to fear of Sin and Death. Jesus Christ took care of that. Overcame, became victorious over that so we don't have to. We just have to believe Jesus Christ took the Wrath of God for us in our behalf. Reading your Bible every day will help you with doubts. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal His Word to you by simply asking the Holy Spirit to reveal, show, guide you before you start reading the Bible. Ask Jesus/Holy Spirit questions he will answer you through His Word, His small still voice, inner promptings, visions, dreams, other spirit filled believers, etc. Read Acts to Jude. That is for the today's believer. Find yourself a spirit filled Church that believes in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Like the Rhema Church, Four Square Church, etc. So you can continue to grow spiritually, to be baptized, etc. You listen to teachings of Gregory Dickkow Ministries, Joseph Prince, Andrew Wommack Ministries. Jesus Christ has the ability to remove all your past, present and future sins. He did it on the Cross 2000 years ago. Your sins don't send to you to Hell but Not accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior. We are all born with the original sin (of Adam). Hell was not created for humanity but for punishment for lucifer and the fallen angels. It is satan that takes the souls of men who has not entered into the Kingdom of God.

The church is the friend of the bridegroom and invited wedding guests.....not the bride.
Matt 9:15 And Jesus said to them, “Can the WEDDING GUESTS mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? The days will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast.
Luke 5:34-35 And Jesus said to them, “Can you make WEDDING GUESTS fast while the bridegroom is with them?
35 The days will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast in those days.”
John 3:29 The one who has the bride is the bridegroom. The FRIEND OF THE BRIDEGROOM, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly at the bridegroom's voice. Therefore this joy of mine is now complete.
Rev 19:9 And the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are INVITED to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are the true words of God.”
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The new Jerusalem is the bride....
Rev 21:2 And I saw the holy city, [new Jerusalem], coming down out of heaven from God, [PREPARED AS A BRIDE ADORNED FOR HER HUSBAND].
Rev 21:9-10Then came one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues and spoke to me, saying, “Come, I will show you [THE BRIDE], [THE WIFE OF THE LAMB].”
10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great, high mountain, and showed me the holy city Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God,

I would like to address my brothers and sisters in Christ. I have been asked why there are so many dominations in the Name of Christ.
First I would like to remind all; who do have salvation in Jesus Christ; we all have been saved by the Grace of God, through Faith, Period. There are no works; it is a Gift from God.
Scripture is clear that Jesus (God Incarnate) was sent and has brought the Truth to sinners. Before you reply or make a comment please remember I love you, my brothers and sisters, I want you to be blessed in Christ. We are of the same Spirit. Remember Jesus’ words.
    Luke 11:23
23 "He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me, scatters.
The reason we have many Dominations are disagreements. This is because Satan sends false prophets to teach untruths. Disagreements scatter, I have seen it will split churches and cause problems in personal lives and destroy a new believers faith.
I have been studying the scriptures and teaching most of my life. I was saved at the age of 13 and started seeking the truth at that age and 54 years later am still learning and seeking truth. The truth is elusive with the world teaching we are exposed to daily.
When I teach I expect attaches from nonbelievers and to be called names, but from professed believers I expect questions if they disagree.
Why do you believe what you believe? Does Scripture support your perspective. A believer’s option is not valid unless God firmly confirms his or her belief with scripture in context.
A popular teaching is that you can lose your Salvation. Does Scripture support this? Read Romans 8:31-39 and John 3:16.
Satan can confuse believers to accept untruths that will stunt their Spiritual Growth. I appeal to you to email me Gary@thegroupdivision.com if you have a disagreement and we can discuss beliefs according to scripture. We can find the Truth together if it is Gods Will.
Blessings to you: see you in Heaven

I pray that the scriptures will speak to you. You are a very special person. God Choose you.
      Eph 1:3-6
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.
      NKJV
John 3:16 states you have eternal life when you believe in Christ. There are no conditions, you have eternal life. God never moves, but some times in our life we move away from him. God gives us everlasting or eternal life.
      John 3:16-17
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
      NKJV
God the Father after choosing us placed us in Christ’s hand. We are his (sheep).
      John 10:27-30
27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand. 30 I and My Father are one."
      NKJV
Paul states that nothing can snatch us out of his hand by separating us from Christ our Lord.
      Rom 8:38-39
38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
      NKJV
You can not loose you salvation by backsliding, but God will discipline you with difficult times. Read Chapter 12 of Hebrews. When your sin is great or small God will make things in your life that will bring you to repent because disciplines those he loves.
The Scripture is clear that when God gives you Salvation nothing can separate us from him, do not let anyone tell you, your salvation is not secure.
      Blessings,
      Pastor Gary

      Gary McCarron:
      The problem of sin.........
What makes you think your sinful "soul", if such a thing exists, can get into God's Heaven?
God doesn't allow sin in Heaven. When sin was found in his highest angel (Satan) he was cast out of heaven to the earth.
If you believe a soul exists as a separate, distinct, ethereal, immaterial component of humans, then for it to be redeemed or sent to "hell" (that's another topic), it has to be YOU in every possible way.
So, would your (or anyone else's ) soul be allowed in God's heaven? Obviously not. I happen to believe humans are corporeal creatures only, no "soul".
Secondly, trusting in Jesus' payment for your sins doesn't make you sinless. It removes the consequences of sin at the judgement. Have you been redeemed but still sin? So does every person: Ps 51:5: "in sin did my mother conceive me." And your soul, if such a thing exists, also sins. So it would never be allowed into God's heaven.
Our sin nature is not removed until after resurrection and judgement when everything is made new again.

@@fromanabe8639 this made no sense. Your right we will have to go through judgement day first but understand that we do have the chance to repent and ask God for forgiveness. That’s why Jesus died on the cross. To tell you the truth we don’t even deserve God’s love or even deserve heaven. But God changed that.

@@mayamaya1735 Of course we can repent and ask God to apply Jesus' sacrifice to cover our sins. But that doesn't mean we will be fit for heaven. Humans are purely corporeal creatures: no "soul", no "spirit".
"In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return." So, when we die we go back to the dust. No one goes to heaven, saved or not. the destiny of the redeemed is to live on the "New Earth" after Jesus returns and establishes his kingdom.

God Will for give your sin if you ask him to. God is bigger than any sin you can commit and he is willing to forgive you if you repent and ask Christ into your heart. Repentance and accepting Christ: God also gives you the gift of eternal life. Please read the verses below which confirm my words.
      1 John 1:9-10
9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful nd just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
      NKJV
      Acts 3:19-20
Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,
      NKJV
John 3:1616 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. NKJV
You will continue to make mistakes (sin) after you accept Christ. Each time ask him to forgive you and he will, until you die.

Gary McCarron you need to read the Bible a little more carefully; Because there is no where in the Bible that says we have a eternal the word Spirit in Greek and Hebrew means (Breath, Wind, or Holy Spirit meaning God) God breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living soul. So God did not put a soul into man Man's body is the soul God gave him breath to make him live, so now we are living souls. And no one is saying that Paul in the Bible is lying because all of the word of God is true. But you just misunderstood what Paul was trying to say.

The Judgment Seat is where we receive the rewards for our work in Christ Jesus. There is not Judgment for sin because it has been removed by the Blood. If your sister died in Christ Jesus her soul is with Jesus. We are truly blessed in Christ.Blessings,
      Pastor Gary

This man refers to the story of the rich man and Lazarus as "an actual event that had happened". WRONG. It is a PARABLE, not a literal event. Matt. 13:34 "All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them." This man needs to support EVERYTHING he says with scripture, but he DOES NOT. Think for yourself: if the rich man was in a literal torment of hell-fire, he would ask for a BUCKET of water, not a drop on Lazarus' finger! To be continued...

Jesus is speaking: There was a certain beggar named Lazarus Jesus" talking and saying there was a man and he was named Lazarus. If he says that this man existed you are calling our Lord and Savior Jesus a Liar.

This teaching makes sense. I am tired of hearing about how everyone who dies, no matter how evil, will get a nice happy afterlife, and this "All is one" garbage. Hell is not pleasant, but it is necessary as a place to punish murders, rapists, and other criminals who do not repent and believe in Christ. We are all sinners, yet the difference is in having faith. One of the tenets of Christianity is the act of maintaining an ego as a separate entity, but serving God.

    Jay,
    2 Corinthians 5:8
8 We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. NKJV
As a believer in Christ you should not fear of Death, just look forward to your resurrection.
John 3:16 guarantees you eternal life if you accept Christ. You have God’s promise you are not going to Hell, if you believe that Christ died for you, you declare him as your Lord and Savior, and you believe he rose on the Third day. You are born spiritually for eternity and sealed by God through the Holy Spirit who enters you. Read Romans 8:32
    1 John 4:4
4 You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
Christ’s blood has removed all of your sin now and in the future, Do your best to keep Messiah’s laws, and continue to listen to the Holy Spirit that is in your heart, He will make you aware of your sin. And when you do sin ask your Father in Heaven to forgive you; in the name of Jesus and you will be forgiven.
You are saved by Grace through faith plus nothing. God's Grace, and remember that fear comes from Satan. Stand fast against him; you are an adopted son of God.
    Blessings Pastor Gary

Hi Pastor Gary McCarron. Thank you for this video. I'm glad that you are trying to comfort those with understanding by the simple way you explain things. I like that you used that map you created, and I agree with some things you say about death. But there seems to be something not right about it, and what you said, from my point of view. Thus, I have some questions, and thank you for letting me ask.
You speak about those already in heaven with Jesus. Then you mention the resurrection, when Jesus returns. Those two thoughts do not mingle, with scripture. If Jesus already took the believers during old testament times that died, from paradise, to heaven, then why would there be a need for ANY resurrection, and judgment to come, spoken about in the B.O.R. ? These people, you say, that are in heaven (thus are already rewarded), are there BEFORE being judged? Can you show me where such a "pass" for them occurred?
You suggest that Ephesians spoke of Jesus taking people up to Heaven? Can you explain John 3:13 "And NO MAN hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven."
Also 2 Corinthians 5:8, from my point of view does not say that WHEN we die, we are with the Lord. I think this is a confusing passage for many. It is written: "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord."
2 Corinthians talks about faith in the Lord, and the afterlife promise.
It says we WILL be with the Lord; not WHEN! So Vs 8 says we would RATHER be with the Lord! I would Rather be with the Lord too! It's Vs 10 says WHEN "We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ..." When is that? Rev 20 says this.
Also, the story of Lazarus, in Luke 16:20-31 was a parable about a rich man and a poor man, like many parables in which Jesus spoke. It was not meant to be taken literally. Jesus spoke in parables, as you know..., from Matthew Ch 13, and he explains why he does it.
I think you are right about a lot of things, about death.
Please pray about what I asked. If I'm wrong, then show me where!
I'm like a student, always learning.
Thanks for letting me respond. God bless.

      Joseph,
Are you saying that Paul is not telling the truth. This is God's Word which is infallible, it is God's Truth. I have the Spirit of Truth (The Holy Spirit) in my heart and a promise from God I have eternal life. Are you passing judgment on me and condemning me to Hell? When you reject the Scripture, which I am quoting, what are you thinking? Do you belong to a cult?Pastor Gary
