Amazing sound... I have yamaha tenor 82z.. with Ambika 3 mouthpiece and also playing on legere signature reeds, but my setup is so soft... so smooth sound.. right now I want to buy another mouthpiece, like yours... I love your sound... I also like my sound, I just sometimes want a brighter sound...
If you want to brighten it up and retain control, try the @theowannemouthpieces Durga. It is their flagship piece for just that reason! But the new Brahma is no joke!!
@@BradBrewerMusic I did order Brahma 7* few days ago... tell me your opinion what do you like "brahma" more than others. What are its advantages and disadvantages. Thanks
@@pavelkuts6239 Subjectively, it comes down to the fact that it feels more versatile than some others. The O.G. Shiva- which is still among my favorite pieces ever- and its new iteration the Shiva IV are more aggressive and edgy. They're accurately marketed as "rock" type pieces. With many projects I am a part of, this is perfect! But the Brahma threads the needle between the darker and brighter pieces. I really think that if there was a mouthpiece to ever de-throne the Durga as Theo's flagship, THIS is it!
@@BradBrewerMusic i hope i will be happy with brahma. I don't really want to buy jody jazz, although I'm very fond of jody jazz, I just like theo wanne...
@@BradBrewerMusic I agree with your assessment. To me, you really have to push the Brahma for aggression. It is easy blowing and smooooth (As is shown in your vid 👍👍), but it, in my opinion, doesn't give you the power and projection of the Durga. I think that it sits between the Durga and the Lakshmi. The Brahma is a great versatile piece, but you do have to push the pedal a little harder to go faster 😉 Great vid, great playing and great review!!! Saxalot, my friend!!
Thanks wzrd11225!! Pavel Kuts is close- it's actually a limited run YTS-82ZIIVB from the unveiling of the 82II series in 2014 (I was told by Yamaha it was 1 of less than 25, scattershot around the world) after the NAMM show that year. The Atelier finish seems to be based off this run.
Great playing. Thanks for posting
Thanks for listening!
love the sound. thanks for sharing.
Fire!!!!!!
I want to try the BRAHMA IN HR, I play on a DURGA 5 AND LOVE IT, time for a HR MP!
Planning to do the same down the line. Also, kind of hoping for a HR alto Brahma offering ...
Nice sound!
