This works; as soon as I started using BFR training biceps, without altering weights/reps/sets, not only were the exercises much harder, but my biceps got much bigger much faster.
Also (I use Kaatsu), the pause between sets is much less. For arms 15 seconds and legs 20 seconds rather than the 1 minute or more for normal weights. The end result is that you can do a workout in far less time.

Would BFR be good for leg muscles that have atrophied after a quad tendon surgery? My left is coming back, but not very quickly.
