Does anyone know how to limit the vertical area? I hate that my sensors pick up ceiling fans. What would work as a physical barrier for mm wave sensor?
I've been with an FP2 for more than a week and after many stumbles it seems that I've managed to make it work acceptably but there's something I don't control and that is that sometimes it turns off quickly when leaving that area but other times it takes more than 20 seconds, it also detects 2 people when there is only one. I imagine it will be a matter of fine-tuning the software or for a future FP3. I use HomeKit on the iPhone and after the first attempts that it did include it, now it doesn't, only in the Aqara app, something strange
Hey! If I remember right, you can’t connect the Aqara FP2 to HomeKit and Home Assistant at the same time. You’ll need to add it to Home Assistant first and then share it to HomeKit from there.
@@fixtse. I don't want to connect it to Home Assistant. I use HomeKit. When they renovated my apartment they installed light switches and blinds compatible with TUYA that is not compatible with HomeKit and that cannot be joined to the FP2 either. Home Assistant seems very complicated for a user like me
I won't say very fast, but yes, it tends to loose you more often than the Aqara FP2 would. So I think that is kind of one of the short commings of this technology, atleast for now. They are quickly to detect you again if you move.
Consistently great video, enjoy & thanks. My parts landed, so hopefully this weekend to create my sensor
Thank you 😁🙌, Have fun!
Question are you sure the aquara fp2 can detect up to 10 persons? Is it not 5. Anyway a great video
Great vid 👍 also as a other plus for the DIY LD2450 sensor.... Your data stays, your data 😊 you don't have to share it with anybody 😜

Sadly the LD2450 is not good on stationary detection. If for example you laydown on a couch sensor stop detecting you very fast

I heard about a new firmware that improved this. Can you tell me if it's true? Firmaware V2.04.23022511
@@fixtse.is the difference that big with fp2 in still over new fw?
