    ESO's easier to the eyes than BDO.
    First time I played BDO, I was overwhelmed by the amount of UI and things shown in my screen. I also felt more lost in BDO, found it too confusing (probably also because of the UI). BDO's combat is so fluid though. Much more fluid than that of ESO's.
    I love BDO's combat, movement, and complexity(love and hate really). On the other hand, I love ESO's interface, simplicity, lore, and world.

    Its simple, if you like The Elder Scrolls Series you have to buy ESO. If you like grinding till you land in a hospital, than get BDO.

Idk what hell you're talking about. There is cultural divesity... Bdo questing is laughing and the lore too. Non-interactive instances, hahahaha. Sure, all the dungeons get an background story, and you can read it, do quests with multiple choices with consequencies.

    Not bad for Self imposed homework, but thanks to that I know that I wouldn't like BDO even half as much as ESO. There are a lot of points that sway my opinion, mainly the customization ability/unlockablity as well as the convenience points like the bank having your loot no matter where you go and having you mount easily summoned to you vs having to keep track of the last place you saw that mount. I am absolutely horrible at misplacing my mounts. ^_^' I do have to thank you for posting this, it saved me some time and money, I was actually thinking about trying it out, but now I know that I wouldn't play if even if I bought it.

The creator was trying to say each game offers a different experience an BDO is hardcore so it attracts the serious players like me. ESO is immersive an really touches base with making PVE worth it. BDO touches higher in PVP. ESO rewards it's players better an more quickly due to it being user friendly. An BDO is like mentioned earned an grinded for.

Also the combat is fun to the point you don't even care that you're grinding because every battle is just awesome. High level wizard is OP, but gets boring in BDO FYI.

    • @senormusica81Gaming
      @senormusica81Gaming  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      ImalTman - thank you for the comments and welcome to the channel. I agree that BDO (kakao) adds more character and combat mechanics quicker than ESO does. In contracts, ESO (bethesda) puts out huge story arcs maybe once every 1-2 years. Both games get updates and add content, but BDO adds more new-player-focused content, like characters and map locations to explore; ESO puts out lore/story with new missions. I've not seen a new map region in ESO (but I could have missed one). Good gaming to you!

    • @LurnWell

      I disagree. BDO has great combat, but ESO did has a much better thought out game when it comes to exploration.

    • @LurnWell
      @LurnWell 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@senormusica81Gaming How could you not know that Morrowind was released last year, as well as Summerset. Those are huge region expansions, modes and a new class in ESO. Newer regions are also constantly added through the regular DLC updates. BDO had to release characters quicker, because it released with less class variation than many of it's competitors. ESO has far more content to engage in the world when it comes to dungeons, caves, and land variation in general. "BDO adds more new-player-focused content". ??? HUH? ESO has tons of more co-op player involved content on a regular bases through added DLC and in the game's mechanics in general. BDO doesn't have classes that gain benefits from others. Each is an individual powerhouse. That's not a bad thing, but to say BDO is more new-player specific is crazy.

    • @LurnWell
      @LurnWell 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      How could BDO be more thought out, when ESO has a far better end game experience IMO? Tons of different types of dungeons, instanced and non instanced, tied into a pvp continent and dlc is far better thought out to me. In ESO you'll get various new dyes, find crafting blueprints at random, chests with hard to find items, lore books, books that upgrade, items found through theft in hidden areas, treasure maps, skyshards amd Mundu stones that enhance your character greatly, simply from finding a waterfall, cave, or wandering into the world...None of these things exist in BDO. BDO has a deep system with it's professions and trade, but the beautiful world needs more than trash mobs for amazing combos at every turn. The node, npc, and questing mechanic is amazing, but ESO still has it beaten in spades in many other areas...In my opinion of course.

    The video was Awsome. But, you forgot to mention one important key note. What i believe would be the ultimate determining factor in deciding between these two. BDO does not have PvE centric content. Sure, there are outdoor bosses. But these bosses are extremely difficult to kill and more often then not require an exaggerated amount of time to kill. ESO has a more PvE oriented style of content. You have Dungeons, Raids, and massive PvP battle’s in a controlled zone and environment. BDO pvp’s is so unbalanced, unless you’re a masochist, you will NEVER grind enough to be as competitive as the next guy. IMO, its up to the what the player is looking for as far as endgame that determines which of these two to play. Which game will reward the time contribution more adequately.

    • @senormusica81Gaming
      @senormusica81Gaming  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hello Eddie, thank you for the astute comments and observations. You are correct that (at current time) BDO is more PvP oriented and ESO is more PvE oriented (for the sheer amount of PvE challenges you can do). Only after making this video did I ever try world bosses in BDO and PvP in ESO. agree 100% that world bosses in BDO require an enormous time commitment, and the patience of the ancients to complete. Even in huge groups, it takes upwards of 20min to kill one boss. I haven't done PvP in BDO yet. I will say that PvP in ESO is pretty balanced, it all about that character build. My main ESO character is a healer so I didn't fare so well attempting PvP. Good adventuring to you!

    • @eddielockhart7768
      @eddielockhart7768 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      senormusica81 Gaming I really have no idea why kakao gaming won’t put PvE dungeons and raids into BDO. As it stands graphically, combat wise, and world integration, BDO is a far more superior mmo. But the lack of PvE content, and truly unbalanced PvP (the core of its existence) makes it so that progression in BDO is very very limited. The day they add a raid and a couple of dungeons, the severs will explode.

    • @senormusica81Gaming
      @senormusica81Gaming  6 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @user-oc1kn4ku8t
      @user-oc1kn4ku8t 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@eddielockhart7768 The balance will falter if they added a dungeon, please think again. If you implement a raid/dungeon place that place will be crowded with too many peoplw hence the grinding places will be empty. Now what I say about balance is that if you make the dungeon "more" profitable than your repetitive grinding then you'll know what will happen right? Then how about we balance the money income in dungeons? That may be impossible after all no one will do the dungeons after a month or so if it's just the same as grinding. Also that place will be a massive pvp-scaled place if you put alot of people there so no. Also to clarify, bdo doesn't fit with having a dungeon but if you say about enemy raids, PA has added some few monsters that needs groups to kill.

    While I wouldn`t call it casual, the game has more player friendly desing choices as of 2018 and onwards.
    Moreover, the world seems much more interesting, at least when it comes to visuals. Take the Ebonhearth Pact territory for instance. You`ve got Aztec-like culture of lizard-folk in murky swamps, Norse-like culture of the freezing north and pure fantasy of Morrowind with giant fungus towers :D

    I try to start teso twice, and i couldnt play it. Animation of charecters are too ugly for me. In BDO when u run, u feel the speed of ur character, when u hit, u feel the power of ur hit. Also it looks beautifull. In Teso my character was like a doll: plastic, ugly animation and etc.
    I could say better in russian, but not many of u speak it.

      thank you, Эльвин Гасанов, for your comment. I agree that ESO does not look or sound as 'serious'. the visual and audio effects in BDO are designed with more "the mental experience" in mind, and careful attention was given to how much affect, the in-game effects have on players. with the new black desert online: remastered update, the visuals got even better, in my experience.

      Thank god I found this comment, I can't explain it more than you.. Im 100% agree to what you said, Ive been playing the game since the SEA CBT's, I came from BDO SEA and played since beta and I'm telling you, to the people that wanting to try BDO, Please for the love of god, stop it as soon as posible, I have 2 lv 60 alts and my main is 63, i just quitted the game a month ago and OH GOD ESO is much better, its just the combat is different, BDO on the other hand is much better when it comes in COMBAT but oh boi, I dont even know how to start to state the flaws of that game.. I know the game is immersive and the best lookking MMO atm, but mechanic wise, monetizing system and the cash shop.. its bad, its waste of time, the progress is dependent on your RNG, people dont actually play the game they all do AFK stuff.. it feels more like a singleplayer game more than MMO, PVP is awesome but thats it, the end game is PVP, and its even lacking PVP Content, they have BR mode but meh, its unbalanced and ppl can hack on those modes and just grind resouruces for them to use on the MMO mode, Pearl Abyss is not even trying to hide their micro transactions and p2w, and dude its bad.. its very fcking bad, I dont have the game but if you cant handle failure to the point that you want to kill someone irl then dont play the game... My point is, ESO is treating me well for the last 3 months and its more of an MMO than BDO,.. BDO grind is insane and its not even worth it coz other giuld could just abuse bugs and p2w and you're just useless in PVP..
      sorry for my bad english, thats all I can share.

    I played both. I liked both. Sadly I'm heavy pvp driven and the lack of open world pvp in ESO eventually got me bored. Also I live far from both servers and have to cope with 220ms ping. ESO feesl so clunky and rubber banding with that ping where BDO feels way smoother and I doubt I"ve ever experienced rubber banding apart from a dc. I've never found Cyrodil on ESO and it feels like they hide pvp. In BDO I find myself 1vs1 arena practice for hours at times with guild mates. The combat is far superior on BDO and probably because I play a Sorc the combat is so mold-able and you have to adapt to your opponents playstyle. The open world without teleportation is a personal preference for exploring .ESO is just as beautiful but after one play through I barely revisited a place. ESO feels much closer to a single player quest rpg game where BDO feels like a mmorpg... This is all personal opinions. I am sad that I could'nt get into ESO that much because it is definately one of the top MMORPG's of all time. Also I believe the future for ESO is much better than for BDO simply because of the publishers/ developers and in the west people tend to prefer non pvp - sadly.
    -Story, questing, PVE goes to ESO
    -PVP, Combat, roleplaying, open immersive world goes to BDO
    Sadly I also found a guild and social interaction to be much better in BDO. In ESO all other players are like npc's and I doubt I've ever spoken to anyone. This obviously depends if you find a guild quickly. I found a guild in BDO very fast from my country and obviously being in discord really makes the game so much fun than to solo it so ESO could probably be the same if you have a guild

      No problem. senormusica81 Gaming. Remember this is a personal opinion and also as mentioned 220ms ping plays a heavy roll with the stability in combat. GW2 actually handled the ping better than both games however after 2x level 80 characters I did not understand what the point of playing was due to the lack of open world pvp. Unfortunately for BDO Korean /Chinese mmorpgs never last very long in the West and we can all agree GW2 and ESO has probably the best developers / publishers and that alone give reason to play them.

      @nathanbriggs4029 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@bloodwolf9428 Yeah the ping kind of sucks. But esos combat is great imo. If you know how to animation cancel it wont feel clunky at all. You can 1v1 in eso at houses set up tournaments etc. Ik pvp is limited to cyrodiil and battlegrounds but honestly I love cyrodiil one massive pvp area.

    BDO is low rate item drop farming game
    ESO is crafting and fashion game
    what i dont like from BDO is fail stack, expensive items = too much grind, no trade, no freedom pricing on the market, always need us to kill too much enemy to progress like in ESO we need to kill 10 is actual 10 enemies not kill 1000 to get random drop to progress the quest.
    BDO only good in graphics, combat, and life skill, other than that i hate everything from BDO

      I don't really know. Never found Cyrodill. Sadly this is what is lacking with most mmorpg's. there is no immersion between pvp and pve. I really don't want to teleport or run some place to do pvp. I want to do my thing. A idiot come interrupt me then I kill him. Then he will come back and jump me again and we fight. Even if they only have a pvp server. BDO is pvp and Ieven go to the main PVP server just because the thrill is even better without any consequences. Anyway I guess I'm in the minority. People in the west dislikes pvp and prefer pve and dungeons
