I've been playing and enjoying piano for a long time now. I co wrote a Rod Stewart song I played synthesizer and Nicky played piano on Another Heartache he is simply brilliant. Bob Ezerin pushed record and Nicky filled every song on every track with unequivocable Piano. He is a genius, with his honky-tonk rhythmic melodic perfection. He was completely inspired. I'm sure Rick Wakeman and Kieth Emerson and every artist he ever played with would agree. If you don't believe in God you should as Nicky was blessed from Above. Rest In peace brother. Agape and blessings to all.
If God chose to bless Nicky with magical musical ability, he also chose to punish him horribly in almost every other way imaginable. It seems to me that some believers engage their attention very selectively, singling out wonders to ascribe to their supposedly omnipotent deity while turning a blind eye to counterexamples. A bit like highly partisan enthusiasts for one particular political party.

Everyone sounds fine. Great even. But what Nicky is doing is on another plane of existence. He was a beautiful person and a beautiful pianist.
