Ben Hymers, Penelope Dovecot Apprentice Tapestry

Ben Hymers joined Dovecot Tapestry Studio in 2014 as an Apprentice Weaver, here we see the creation of his first apprentice piece, Penelope which takes its name and story from Greek mythology.
“Queen of Ithaca, Penelope is expected to take a new spouse but shuns her suitors. Cunningly, she announces she will choose a husband when her weaving is finished.
