So awesome to see the two guys I lean on the most to bring my mini painting knowledge back up to speed and try to improve it far beyond where I left off over 30 years ago. Great information in this video. I'm doing my research right now for the airbrush setup that I want to buy when I work my next shutdown. Thanks for the pro tips gentlemen!
Yeah, it can look pretty amazing. And if you're going for a tabletop standard, just adding a single highlight to each area/color will get you there. The airbrush really is a great time saving tool.
I have tried to basecoat with a brush and I personally Think that doing all the first layer with the airbrush is much easier and faster and I have never had a problem with the layer being too thin. I learned that through Kenny Boucher from Next Level Painting.
Why do everytime you put out a video, it feels like you're my big brother teaching about something. I feel like a kid in awe in front of all the new technique and knowledge you have to offer ! Geat job oni-san !

Very cool video. You are really an example to me. I am about to quit my job and try to leave from our passion here in France. I have my blog for some months now, as soon as possible a youtube channel. So I really learn a lot from you, not only about painting, but about making amazing videos. Always such good quality in terms of sound, images, content... One of my goals : to get to the point where we could do something together as you sometimes do with other painters (like in you Fiver video and other stuff).
