Very cool way to check my TPMS tire pressure sensors. Makes sense. I'd be interested to learn more about the Flipper Zero, too. First I've heard of this tool.

Can the flipper zero be used to transmit 4 tire readings to the car? If so this would be a great tool for those with snow tires or who go off roading and just need to transmit 4 good values to stop it triggering the dash light.

Is there a way to use a second Flipper Zero to do the engaging part
(instead of using the Vxdas EL-50448 TPMS Relearn Tool)?
For example, can a Flipper Zero record the RF tool output of the TPMS relearn tool and play it back.. while the other Zero listens for the sensor output?
Otherwise, don't you need a different TPMS relearn tool for every car/tire make? Perhaps there's little information on all the different chirps?

Very interesting idea, I'll have to do a little more research on those relearn tools to see how they work. BTW they are on Amazon for around $9. But yeah the whole TPMS thing is kind of a disaster because there are so many different implementations 🙄 it's kind of ridiculous that it's so disorganized, after almost 20 years of it being required. Someone should do a deep dive video on TPMS and figure out if there is a way to unify everything with an aftermarket gadget

So I did some research and experimentation. The TPMS relearn tool I have transmits a blank AM carrier on 125KHz. ...Too low for the Flipper Zero to do it with stock programming, but not totally out of the question yet. On some ESP32 micros, it is possible to send that kind of signal out to the GPIO via I2S, and it might be enough to do the trick. I have been playing around with it, if I get it to work I will do another video!

@@doctor567 You could just ask a mechanic, you might have to do a Tom's check to compensate for the cost but go to a pepboys or a large chain shop and ask if you can check out their relearn machine.

I work in ACC at bigname corporation and I just so happen to have a flipper, and they have the relearn tool. When I get some free time I might do a video or something

@@doctor567are you sure it's too low? Flipper can emulate 125kHz rfid too, so the hardware is capable of transmitting data at that frequency

What? No inside tire view from a GoPro? Lame...😁 Really cool!
