I'd watch out with that spray on polished wheels, they will oxidize very quickly and some liquids especially those with low PH values will turn your mirror finish into a dull silver with just a small drop!

I have been looking for 3d printed center cap nut, genuine caps are near impossible to find, the wheels still look good without it so I not to phased. Maybe try getting an MR2 shifter? Cables might work. Not sure what there is to begin with or if you need to reverse the pattern somehow. That sounds like a handful😂 super unique build, can’t wait to see some progress on the fiero and the Z subframe
Those 2 piece wheels are the weirdest design I've ever seen and definitely went googling after seeing those. My first thought was how do they affect the wheels balance, or better yet how did the designer figure out that balance. Just pretty cool engi-nerdy stuff.
There is a Ferio savage yard just south of the TN border into AL if you get off around exit 2 or 1 from 65 south I think. FYI if you guys ever are needing parts?
A pontiac 3800 supercharged engine will almost drop right into that Fiero. 240hp upgrade and in that small frame the power to weight ratio is killer. My cousin and I did one back in the late 90's on his.
The fiero is so cool dude, i know u want it to be like a rat rod but i feel that after all that work with the swap it deserves kind of a clean body. U could do some vids on diy for making a car look good on e budget. Keep up with the builds, i really enjoy ur content!!
If you did an auto swap the linkage issue wouldn’t be much of an issue. crv manual transmission uses cables but transmissions are rare and expensive. If you did a h/f swap those transmissions use cables too
I wish i knew what it was called but i used to see gold mishimoto rads on all grassroots drift cars in the us for a while n so i wonder if that would fit in the z
Its probably easiest to just find a b series shift linkage and shifter housing and fabricate some adapters to make it fit the fiero, mabye get ding dong drift to help with a 3 printed bracket? Should require less modification that way
8:42 Cool project but I think it’s going to be literally impossible to get shift linkage to work with a b series in that orientation, mounted in the rear. At least more trouble than it’s worth anyways 🤷🏼♂️
I would go H2b in that fiero, id imagine youd have fitment issues but a f20b is no bigger than a LS, keep the hydro trans so youd have ease of transmission conversion, but power and torque capabitlity, B20 is honestly not to far in price from H or F, Best of luck

@@rceps4999 it's temporary on the street behind my P11 Due to needing to strip and cut up another parts car for my main current project, but I already figured out I'm gonna go with polycarbonate windows to replace. I need to find a new driver door handle and see what I can do about the crack and chip in the sunroof from them trying to pry it up from the outside.
Ruined4banger on here did a dual engine swapped ek with independent shift linkages. Maybe you can hit him up and see how he did with the back swaps shift linkage.

97-01 Crv transmission uses cable shifter linkage. They also did make a 2 wheel drive crv. So that would be the easiest option
older b series trans are also cable like from the DA intgeras

13:42 this is where an engine hoist leveler comes in handy. allows you to lower the trans side first then slowly adjust to lower the timing side

Make a j link int the shifter! Go past and make it come back to keep it all in the same shift pattern, keep it flat and it should work well!
If you use a crv trans you can use shifter cables you can run the crv trans with out the drivesshaft and it works just fine
