- I started listening to @laufey around early 2021 in April when she released her "Typical of Me" EP. She used to be quite underrated compared to now, she is getting the recognition she deserves and I am really happy for her. She is a jazz singer-songwriter, and as a person who loves jazz so much, I've decided to cover one of her latest songs, "Falling Behind". I did this cover around 12 midnight lol, and recorded the audio through my phone as I wanted to do it quick. I hope you will like it as much as I do!

This was recorded on my phone and used the video's audio without using my recording software because I wanted to give it a "stripped" feel to the song. Hope you enjoy the video!

I'll give it a thought, might have to re-record the cover if I do (especially since this cover is super stripped where I learned this last minute after I listened to the song for the very first time. There are also some mistakes I've made on this cover, there is this one chord where I got it wrong lol). Maybe it is a little bit, or maybe it's the audio being captured from my phone since when I record things from my phone, the guitar tends to sound lower. (and I just realized there is 1 chord in there that I plucked the bass note wrong like instead of the 6th string, I chose the 5th string lol) but anyways this was a last minute-type of learning (especially when trying to learn it by ear and watching how she plays it) as soon as I discovered it then recorded it right away, so mistakes are quite possible but this was all for fun, and love for the song! Thank you for watching truly appreciate it!
